Tyre reviews Continental ContiIceContact. Page 7 424

Good day. Last February, I collected a car from Japan in Moscow with winter tires in zero tread depth, with no special choice (14 185/70), I chose a Continental German tire with original studs. The high profile made the car ride higher in winter, but the downsides of this profile are that it feels more slippery. After a year, 60-70% of the studs are worn out, the speed rating is 110 km/h - what did it blow out for?

1. Suits snow roads best. Almost no slippage (tested on off-road - field road with height differences. Conditions - melting snow), but provided you don't floor it.
2. Mediocre grip in loose snow (as it says in the description of the tyre).
3. Tread is in place. Satisfied with the rubber and quality.
4. Quiet.- Vehicle:

Hello everyone. Firstly, about ratings ( fours): 7) it's definitely expensive - always want to pay less $$$); 11) on dry roads keeps perfectly, if there’s a bit of unevenness, have to hold the wheel a bit tighter, ice and snow perfectly (80-100 like in summer); 12) If the roads weren't cleaned, I'd give it a high score for quietness, on dry roads after 500km of break-in it makes a lot

This season I bought new tires and drove about 600 km, half the tread just didn't make it, I was skidding as I should, didn't lock up, didn't brake hard, all as it should!!! Although last year a friend bought identical tires and they still have all the tread.

I'm finishing the first season... the studs seem to be intact, although the appearance of some doesn't look great. My driving style is aggressive. The behavior in snow is super... I always made it out, unless I was stuck on the bottom)) Ice.....I guess I didn't slip anywhere.... although the feelings are mixed, but that's still because of the ABS, it's the first year. The tendency to skid the rear, either the tires, the car, or me,

Tires are just great, with their VERY aggressive driving style, they justify themselves 99%.
The anchor seating of the studs has a very favorable effect on their durability. For the winter, not a single stud has come off, given that I love to leave the traffic light with wheel slip and drift on the areas.

I have nothing to compare with, this is my first winter. I approached the choice of tires with full responsibility, chose for a long time, read reviews and tests. My choice fell on these tires and I'm quite satisfied. The car goes smoothly, quietly, but the tires don't like ruts. They go into a skid with difficulty, I was skidded once and that's because of my own fault... On asphalt, they behave just perfectly. After two months of operation,

Excellent tire from catalog 5 seasons plus 50t. and I think it will last for another couple of seasons. Handling is excellent, almost no noise, several times went into puddles with snowy slush at speeds over 100km/h held perfectly, on snow and ice the same goes well, you should understand that it's not a snowmobile. Those who are not satisfied with this tire probably need a snowmobile or an "off-road" tire.

Good tread, very soft and grippy when new.
Tread wears well if not driven over 200 on dry asphalt.
Handling on ice and snow is a breeze, at time of purchase probably the best tire ever.- Vehicle:
