I bought the tire for a few track days, used it for one season, so it's got low mileage. It has been pre-seasoned in 300km on asphalt covered in ice, then it's been on full-on track duty! The studs in it are very effective, which is to be expected as it's been on ice for most of the time. Acceleration on ice is great in both directions, but especially longitudinally. It reacts immediately to gas input, so it gets out

The first car I used this tire on was a Matiz - I really liked it. Before that, I had a Nordman directional tread tire, which spun a couple of times on ice, luckily no one got hit. On the continent, this was not a problem. On the snow, I also like it, already in my second season - it's missing just a couple of studs. It grips well on ice, snow, and slush, and brakes well, especially I liked the passage

I passed the first winter normally, mostly driving on highways. After 60000 km, during the tire change I found out that the inner side of the tire was completely covered with a mesh of microcracks, by 70000 km all wheels failed, the manufacturer is Poland, I don't need such things anymore, I'll go back to buying Nokian or Michelin as before.

I conducted the tire test at a positive temperature, despite changing them in mid-December in Stavropol. The tires have undergone 600 km without any issues with the studs. Previously, on another car (Avenis, now Camry) I bought Nordman4 tires, but the studs would come loose immediately. By the end of the season, the front axle was short by about 20% of the studs, and the rear ones were installed individually. I set off to Samara

I purchased tyres in size 205/65 r15, and after the first winter I didn't notice any loss of tread. On ice the car is stable, the tyres try to keep the car on course even if you get a bit heavy on the accelerator. They grip normally on snow, I went through a couple of snowfalls during the winter and drove everywhere by myself, without needing help from my all-wheel-drive friends. In the winter I don't go over 120, and I don

Wheels super! Any snow, slush - they clear it with ease! In the past, I always carried a shovel, even with winter tires, because the rear-wheel drive in deep snow and slippery roads can get stuck just about anywhere. I bought the wheels out of habit, threw a shovel in the trunk on the first winter - but I never ended up using it. I was able to drive out of snowdrifts that I wouldn't have been able to get out of before.

Just read a test in the automotive magazine about ContiContact's siping. The test pleasantly surprised me, it appears they've introduced a new sipe which bites into the surface even better, braking distance has been reduced, and they've also come up with a new compound. I'm currently on the ContiContact HD, and it worked in anticipation, as they say ))

I've chosen this tire for a long time and have never been disappointed with my choice! On the icy crust on the asphalt, at a speed of 60 in a turn, I felt slightly pulled by the back but as I hit the gas, I easily passed through. While my friend on the Astra with the Hakkapeliitta 7 was bucking, I was passing with a slight difficulty. It grips the snow well. In a turn from a snowy lane, some difficulties are observed

There is no other impression from Continental than one of euphoria. My vehicle now behaves in an entirely different manner on ice. I used to take a complete detour around winter roads as I was always afraid of losing control, both for myself and other road users. Now, I feel much more at ease, the grip offered by ContiIceContact5 is simply fantastic! The most pleasant thing about winter tyres is how quiet they are!

I'm running Continental IceContact 5 tires. The pluses of this tire are excellent handling on slippery roads and on the snow. Plus, the studs are bonded in so tight that on the whole last winter I probably only lost 4. Among the minuses, people often mention that the Conti IceContact 5 is very noisy. I must disagree. The fact that a studded winter tire is louder than an all-season tire is not a criticism. Compared to the main competitors, Cont
