Any tire is a compromise, and a winter tire even more so. The ContiIceContact has focus on good grip on ice and snow. Compared to the special "asphalt" Nokian WRG2 tire, the ContiIceContact has a pleasant surprise with excellent snow properties, both in deep snow and on ice. Unfortunately, I have not driven on snow mush, so I cannot assess it. The behavior on asphalt is, however, good: handling is satisfactory, braking is good

Installed Continental ContiIce Contact BD on Nissan Teana J32 (2.5 front-wheel drive) immediately after purchase in 2011. Since then, I've driven through 3 winters (now 4) and I'm very happy with my choice. I have something to compare it to, having previously driven on Nokian Hakka 2 & 5, Gislaved Nord Forst 5 and others. Among the advantages:

    - Traction - the studs

Hello everyone! I've been driving on Continental IceContact5 tires for the first season and they're simply fantastic! The winter has been quite eventful, with a mix of rain and heavy snowfall, but the tires have performed flawlessly! They grip the road incredibly well. On ice, I don't experience any skidding, and on deep snow, the car pulls like a beast - I never get stuck or experience any wheelspin. And the durability is impressive too! I've only lost

We travel a lot with the family in Russia. Winter roads don't scare us either:) Of course, when driving with kids you drive very carefully. And probably on almost any tire, at quiet speed, it's comfortable. But my wife and I are ardent advocates of safety, so I choose tires very carefully, regardless of my safe driving style. I always choose tires with studs because there is a lot of snow in our 'deepness' and, believe me, they clean it not like

I guess it'll be the most amateur review. I'm a total newbie when it comes to cars, only recently got my hands on a set of wheels. I drive a Peugeot 307. Last winter my father replaced the tires with Continental IceContact 5. I only drive in the city, never venture out into the countryside, and I'm not into speed, so I can't comment on handling, aquaplaning, or traction. What I can say is that the car runs

I believe Continental to be the best tire manufacturer at this point in time, and I have both summer and winter tires from this company. The ContiIceContact has met the challenges posed by winter tires: maximum maneuverability on icy surfaces and in the snow with a minimal braking distance, noise, and wear.

2009 model, bought in February 2011, third winter, agreed with several reviews about the noise, good on dry road, on wet asphalt with anti-icing, but if there is no slush, poorly manageable on loose snow and slush, strong studs after two winters lost 2 studs, durable, more suitable for the city than for snowy roads, and also I and some others note that after the summer tire there is a feeling that the car is sluggish and doesn't move,

On ice, they have good traction in all directions. On snow, it's the same - both longitudinal and lateral traction is at a high level. On a snow-covered road, they allow for fast driving, keeping the car stable. However, the information on the steering wheel is insufficient. In deep snow, they only work well with intense skidding. On the asphalt, they run straight, with a clear "zero", and the reaction to direction correction is instantaneous. They brake well on wet asphalt

Installed literally just last week in anticipation of the cold. While breaking it in – I drive carefully. Yet, the tire is an absolute delight. Quiet, compared to other brands, it handles the road exceptionally well. Looking forward to the snow, but judging by the reviews on other websites, I have nothing to fear.

The tires pleased me, but too soft, center wear, the tread is super, I drove 50,000 km on asphalt (track) speed range 120-160 km/h in minus 33, reliable, and you can put them on either side, this is also a big plus, they hold exceptionally well on ice, but weakly throw snow.
