Hello. I'd like to recommend this option to everyone who drives in the city, the tire is just super. It's a sledge, deep snow or ice – it's not a problem for her. I tested it on an icy hill where not all tires can ride, and the test ended 2-0 in our favor). Of course, studs will be better in some conditions, but such comfort from driving will hardly be given by studs, on it you ride like on a good quiet

I'm writing my first review despite having a huge experience of driving on various tires. I decided to write it after getting stuck in an enormous pothole at a high speed. The rim bent badly! I managed to drive for 20 meters on the tire until I stopped. The impact was so strong that I was convinced the wheel would fly off for a kilometer. It was nighttime and I didn't examine the damage closely, but I was sure I'd lost a tire!

I bought these tires for Moscow winter drives and trips to Europe. They performed perfectly. I never got stuck anywhere in two winters. Wear is almost unnoticeable. I drove from Moscow to Murmansk for New Year. They behave themselves perfectly. They hold the road. No skids. Control is confident and comfortable. Noise is within normal limits. Now I'm thinking, do I need studs?

From Goodyear, I have only used Ice NAVI 2 (made in Japan) - a long time ago, then heard many negative reviews on the company's tire products, mainly for Eastern Siberia, there are only tires from Bridgestone Blizzak and its models (no joke). Last year had to choose a winter tire for "BLOKHU", saw on your website Goodyear UltraGrip Ice 2, of course, wanted Bridgestone Blizzak

Exceeded expectations, thanks to an extremely competitive price from Mosavtoshina, and impressed with the excellent value for money. I have Polish-made tires. The model passed the Moscow-Saran test drive (650 km through Ryazan, loaded Fiesta passed in 8.5 hours). Confident handling, excellent traction, good acceleration (helped when overtaking trucks), confident course on any winter surface, very low noise level - that's a brief list of benefits of this model. I wanted to write a review for a long time, but never had the time. I bought this tire in October 2016 based on the reviews on this website and a bit on other websites. I bought the tire in the city of Abakan from an excellent company where there is a very good guy named Denis. The manufacturer of the tire is Poland. The tire was installed in October when the temperature was up to +10 degrees on the street. After the summer Michelin Primacy 3

I've done about 600 km on these tyres. They are significantly better than my previous ones (Bridgestone Blizzak).
Handling is superb! They grip the road well!
Only minus (it's probably a problem for all non-studded tyres) is braking on ice.
Haven't tested at temps below 20°C yet.
Can't say anything about the tyre's durability as it's been a short run. <

    I'll start from the beginning.

Before buying these tires, I drove 40,000 km over 4 winters on Michelin X-Ice North 2. Overall, the tire was liked by everyone except for the acoustic comfort.

Next, with the next car, I got Michelin X-Ice 2. Since I had no experience with studded tires up to that point, I was cautious with them at first. But by the next winter, I decided to only

I bought new tires for my car in the summer of 2018. The summer tires are CORDIANT.
In the fall of 2018, October, I bought Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice 2 or 9, I'm not sure, need to check. Anyway, they are studded tires. They are all roughly the same.
I've been driving on them ever since. I don't drive much, but I like them.
In the winter, they handle perfectly on city roads! But when I drive out of town, difficulties begin. I have to constantly press the gas pedal and enter turns carefully. Once, due to incorrect entry, the car skidded, and I almost ended up in a ditch, there was black ice, outside of Tula. Since Moscow streets are cleaned, and I mostly drive on Moscow roads, everything is fine.
    1. They are quiet.
    2. They drain water well, ah... okay, good.
    3. Good braking performance (for the first 3 years).
    4. They perform poorly on snow.
    5. On ice, they are absolutely terrible.
    6. On wet snow, it's a disaster.
    7. On dry roads from +5 to -30 degrees, there are no problems at all.
    8. They hold speed up to 170 km/h, I haven't driven faster than that.
    9. The comfort while driving is very good.
I bought them at Mosavtoshin. I will change the tires since the expiration date has come, 40% worn out, manufactured in 2018.
And the tires, as far as I know, are good for 5 years, then they lose their properties. I heard this from an official Goodyear source, personally (I did an ad for them). That's why I bought them the first time. And I didn't regret it. Next time, I will also buy Goodyear for summer and winter. And I don't care about sanctions, I'll find a way.
In total, I've driven around 38,000 km on winter tires.
The summer tires (CORDIANT) are heavy, but good. I've driven around 31-32 thousand km on them.
I keep a rough record of the mileage on the tires. So, that's it.
Thanks for reading to the end.

I'm taking my second set of these tires, having driven a winter on an Octavia 1.8T and a season on a front-wheel drive Kodiac (although I think it was Ice+ on the Kodiac). In general, the traction from GoodYear is simply excellent. I live out of town and the roads in winter are, as you understand, quite something... plus from the highway to the cottage there's still a snow-compacted gravel road, and over the three winters on these tires, I never once felt at a disadvantage (of course, using my brain).

At the same time, the tires are soft, comfortable, and quiet. They handle well in wet slush. And, of course, driving on dry winter asphalt or just wet clean asphalt is also a pleasure - it's like driving in the summer in terms of comfort and noise. I'm very satisfied and I will never buy studded tires again in St. Petersburg.
