Tyre reviews Dunlop Graspic DS3. Page 2 243

A normal city tire, functions well at any temperature, very quiet, and that's its big plus compared to more aggressive tires. For a city that is cleaned a bit more than enough. Good wear resistance. However, it does not like a lot of snow. Clogs up heavily and that's it. So its element is only the city.

Abysmal performance on ice. I'm not a speed enthusiast, but I didn't expect to have to drive at 20-30 km/h with a 20-30 meter stopping distance. That being said, I'm extremely dissatisfied with this winter tire. What really takes the cake is that at speeds of 30-40 km/h, even slight acceleration can cause wheelspin and a sideways drift.

Good tire for its price, wanted Bridgestone, but it was nowhere to be found, haven't got any complaints with Dunlop yet, got what I expected, a friend dissuaded me and I myself went to 3 seasons, says it doesn't hold the road, I didn't notice anything like that.

...The tire is simply Excellent on light cars.
For sedans, it's a must-have.
It's very good in the snow and slush. Ice - not so much, but we almost never have it.
Not for SUVs and heavy vehicles at all.
Large tires with diameters above 17 inches are not worth putting on either. You'll get a lot of negative emotions and reviews.

This tire's on the borderline, offering no 100% confidence on the road, although it's never let me down. Braking on ice is better slow – it stops, but not as smoothly as you'd want. Trapped in the snow – it's good at digging out, even if it's a bit of a struggle on the belly. Sharp braking feels like you're about to lose control – the limit is very clear, but it's not always a perfect ride. I've read

I've been using these tires for 3 seasons now.
They're soft and comfortable, handle well on both wet and dry asphalt, and braking is not bad.
However, on slushy roads, especially if there's ice underneath, braking is almost non-existent.
Traction on snow is also poor. It seems I need to get the tread deeper and a snowflake pattern for winter, but as a multi-season tire, these work well in the- Vehicle:

Excellent city tyres for a place where the roads are a mess with slush and muck in winter. I replaced the worn-out Gislaved winter tyres that the previous owner had fitted with studs. When I left the tyre shop, it felt like I was driving a brand new car. The initial impression was that the car was sticking to the road, and there was a noticeable improvement in sound insulation. The steering became crisp and predictable, and the ride was smooth and pleasant.

So, it's not a frequent situation, but it happened and these tires behaved incredibly badly, and despite being supposed to help avoid the accident, they failed to do so. Incident details: 4 am on M7 highway, the road was covered with black ice, it was snowing, the temperature was -4 outside, the distance from the 80 km/h speed limit sign to a 90-degree turn was approximately 100 meters, my speed at the moment of braking was around 80

My second review about Dunlop Draspic DS3 185/65R15. Bought a first car universal P11 144 body, 2 litres, 140 horses. Expected the same from the tire, but unfortunately, it's not as easy to get moving on snow, and on ice the car doesn't feel as confident. The car is different, the tire is the same, but the feelings from driving are completely different.

My first normal car, Accordion CB3 sedan 1991, 2 liters, 133 hp. Buying Dunlop Graspic DS3 185/65 R15 made me very happy. In the winter (operation from +5 to -35) it was just a pleasure on ice. The only flaw is that it doesn't like snowy mush, but copes with it. Having run about 30,000 km, there is no visible wear. What I liked, was that
