Good on snow and ice, brake on asphalt is average, starts to wander at speeds above 100-110. The studs lose almost nothing. A friend has been driving him for 3 seasons. Suitable for a sedan, drives more confidently in winter than others.

True for winter snow tires. The tread is very well, snow and wet snow are removed. Keep good temperature quality-29C / -8C. Short stop distances on ice. Highly recommended for places where road maintenance is very low. Countries of the Baltics, where it is not forbidden to use studded tires.

Initially, I was planning to put the Misha from the first X-Nord family on my new car. There was the opportunity to compare Michelin to Bridgestone 5000 at the time. Safety of movement prevails over the noise and other minuses that are described in the posts below. And when buying another car, only X-Nord. By the way, I was surprised by the evaluation of off-road qualities, they are simply excellent, as is the entire tire for a HARD

    Balanced well
    No float at 130
    Expected less noise
    Pothole durability: no bulges
Does not like loose snow on ice
    Good acceleration/deceleration
In the case of a puncture, can be repaired with a plug (not the cheapest option)

Special plus for durability. Passed more than 60,000 km on one set in four winters. Put in for the fifth time (a tire killer took the new ones). Holds up quite well. Hold the road, do not slip on ice. Behave like new ones, of course, but I am quite satisfied. After all, they have run five seasons already!

Minus: The studs fell off on the third winter and as a result, there were 30% losses per season. Now

    Pros: comfort, braking, durability.

Cons: only suitable for calm driving under 90 km/h, if you drive on a road with a layer of icy slush, you'll get a slide or a spin.

Verdict: do not buy this tire if you like to drive it aggressively (it's dangerous).

Perfect choice in my opinion. 2 seasons. Very quiet. More than 70% of the tread left (considering I'm a heavy driver). No deviations at 240 km/h. Reliable. Can fully count on it! No advertisement! As I've decided to get the Kumho for the summer period.

    Good tires
The studded tire has a very low noise level. When operating in urban environments, the studs, due to their increased height, are pulled out by the moment. Partial loss of studs (about 10-12%) on each tire did not practically affect the operational characteristics. The tire is more frictional than studded.
Pros: Stable characteristics in different weather conditions
Cons: The extended stud is not very reliably seated in the tire.

    Winter tires

And here in Kiev, winter has arrived, my swallow (Peugeot 406), previously fitted with Michelin X-Ice North 185/70 R14, showed excellent passability on all roads, no skidding, no slipping, the tires hold the road perfectly. It drives perfectly at 100km/h, I haven't tried higher speeds and I don't advise others to drive fast in such weather...

Good tires, but more suited for calm driving.
Tires are good, but also lose studs well. Tested in various conditions, both on dry asphalt (maximum speed 190 km/h) and in winter drifting conditions. The result is 2 seasons and the tires are disposable.
Pros: Holds the road very well on snow
    Cons: Studs come off quickly
