Passed the second half of autumn and a part of winter on this tire in the Kaliningrad region. Primarily I drove on asphalt and wet asphalt. There were a couple of instances of freezing and snow, so I was able to check the winter qualities too. Compared to Nokian WR-D4, the traction on snow and icy surfaces is significantly better, while on asphalt I didn't notice any significant difference. There is a slight rumble that appears when downshifting from 80 to

I replaced my Bridgestone Blizzak REVO GZ with these tyres of the same size, 225/50 R17. I am extremely pleasantly surprised! The tyre is much quieter than the previous ones! I ride over the same city bridge joints much softer! The speed doesn't affect the noise, it's always quiet! It holds super well! Regardless of the surface. On the first day after switching to these tyres, a snowstorm hit and I was driving 200 km to

I bought Michelin X-Ice 3 tires immediately after purchasing the car and have now driven through two winters. Handling on dry and wet asphalt is excellent. They also excel in high-speed cornering. For non-studded tires, ice handling is good. They are extremely quiet and comfortable tires. However, due to this, damage resistance is lower. At speed, I drove into a pothole and burst a tire. I had to replace two tires, as they need to be the same

Frenched tire "cab" is excellent on the highway, bites into turns, and scrapes well on loose snow, while on ice, like any frenched tire, it's a bit worse than studded tires. The main thing is to have your wits about you. Water drainage - 5+. Excellent tire. I used it for 4 seasons and sold it with the car. It's still good for one more season.

Spent 1.5 seasons, currently on my dad's third Focus.
Good quality liner. Principally don't drive on studded tyres, looked for many Conti and Goodyear analogues. Michelin is neither better nor worse.
Weak on ice and deep snow. Otherwise, excellent. Asphalt, packed snow - no issues. Quiet and soft.
No noticeable wear, punctures, cuts or blowouts.

Very good non-directional winter tire. Sufficiently soft, not noisy, keeps the car well on wet and snowy roads, excellent on dry. High level of handling, brakes predictably. Excellent option for city driving in wet winter conditions. I've equipped my Audi and BMW with full-wheel drive, very satisfied, highly recommend it.

I had a chance to test it out last winter. The tire is quite good, it's quiet, but when I accelerated, it felt like I was on asphalt, it also handled well in corners, with good grip and minimal slippage. However, when I hit the brakes on a patch of light ice, it behaved like a summer tire, almost not stopping at all. On snow and slush, it handled just fine. After a few spins on the ice, when I had to

For the first time, I bought winter studded tires. Before buying, I had some doubts about the good stability of the car on ice and, in general, on snow. Acquaintances using studded tires from other popular brands only responded positively.

But as a result of using studded tires for the 2022 year, already the 3rd season, my expectations are fully justified!

On not very steep climbs and small ice, the car climbs confidently - this is mainly in the city. Outside the city, on well-traveled roads, there are also no problems. Especially confidently, the car behaves on dense, unrolled snow - the traction is excellent, without slipping. The studded tire also copes very well with loose, dirty city snow, which is often found on the sides of the road. If you don't get stuck on ice and don't get stuck, it gets out of the snow without problems. On a long, icy hill, the advantage, of course, is with studded tires. On non-studded tires, I couldn't climb in some places in the city, but in the city, you can drive around. I had a case where I couldn't drive onto a steep, icy peripheral road.

On asphalt, it does not make noise due to the absence of studs, and this is one of the big pluses for me. Due to the softness of the tires, it is quieter in the cabin than even the summer tires.

Since the Vesta Cross is not a crossover, but a regular city sedan, the passability of the car with non-studded tires, in general, is not lost.

I've been running these tires since 2012. I chose this model after studying the profile tests. The Michelin brand is not an empty promise, I've proven it on my own experience. Excellent winter non-studded tire, to date, I don't see any non-studded tire that could surpass the X-Ice 3. In 2019, I switched to a different tire size (from 15" to 16") and, of course, bought the X-Ice
