Blood-curdling roads and thin side walls with a 35% sidewall-to-tyre diameter ratio make for bad puncture resistance and etc. Wear isn't so great, mainly due to the small tread pattern on the BEGN s, but grip in any conditions is superb. Even with 80% wear, there's no aquaplaning in deep puddles, ESP almost never intervenes, unless you've seriously oversteered, though a part of that is due to the
