I usually don't choose tires carefully, as I have always bought Goodyear and have never been disappointed. This year, I decided to buy a new product, the UG 600, for my Mazda 626. The review is honest, my personal one, it may help someone with their choice.
I bought these tires to replace Michelin X-Ice North 3 (German production), the tires are excellent, but over 4 seasons, about 50% of the studs have come off. I didn't spare the tires much (I change them in mid-October/mid-April).
When searching for tires, the main parameter was non-Russian production, and a reasonable price if possible. Plus, I read reviews.
I wanted, of course, something from the "top three" (Michelin, Continental, Nokian),
but, unfortunately, they are all domestic production.
I have experience driving on tires of our production, both summer and winter.
Plus, I worked as a manager (2006-2008) in two tire companies, so I have some experience.
I bought them in December 2021, 4490 rubles per tire, made in Poland.
Run-in period of 1000 km - speed not exceeding 80 km/h, without sharp maneuvers.
In comparison with Michelin (I won't compare with Nokian Hakka 7 - it was all sad, including 4 seasons - all the studs came off!!! Maybe due to our production):
There is noise during the run-in period (but no more than Hakka and Michelin)
then it's normal.
On ice, braking is slightly worse, but not critically, almost imperceptibly.
On asphalt, they behave like all studded tires from the "top three".
I drive carefully, but not like a pensioner.
And here's the biggest plus:
it's driving on snow
I didn't expect that from a front-wheel drive "barrel" (I have driving experience: Suzuki Grand Vitara in the latest and penultimate bodies, Niva 3-door, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport-2).
On snow, it performs great (of course, within reasonable limits)
on a country road, 500 meters with difficulty, but I made it.
I towed a 99th (on studded tires) SUV for a couple of hours in front of me.
It's too early to judge the wear resistance.
Would I buy them again? Definitely YES!

I bought these tires on January 6th! The price was great and my old set of Kumho tires were already worn out. I liked the tread and original siping of the 600 ultra grip. I've only driven one season, so the studs are still in good condition, and the tread is as good as new;
- I drive quickly, but I always pay attention to braking, so I can't comment on the braking distance in emergency situations;

First studded tyres I've got, driving on them for 2nd winter now, mainly asphalt, all studs still in place, after retread, you can hear some studs on certain speeds, no howl, good on ice, unstable above 140, overall, really liked them)

Compared to the UltraGrip Extreme model, it is much quieter, braking is more effective, and handling is more precise. The winter this year was unusual, mainly driving on wet and dry asphalt, ice and snow were present, but in minimal quantities, there were no problems with movement on any of the surfaces, I was surprised by the braking on dry asphalt, very good for studded tires!

After buying the car, money left for winter tires was at a minimum, so I went for a more budget-friendly studding. A relatively budget-friendly tire with excellent handling characteristics - honestly did not expect such a result. Traction is excellent both on snow and on ice, excellent cornering stability on the track, relatively weak noise. The tire copes with maneuvering on a hard five - turns, sharp braking, acceleration. I'm satisfied.

I bought a new set of Goodyear tires. The previous Ultra Grip lasted for three winters, there is no better tire, even the highly praised Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 couldn't be compared to it. Goodyear is a good tire in general, in spring I bought a set from Mosavtoshina, they are working well, although it was a bit problematic to order at the end of October, but I would attribute that to a big influx of orders due

I've had the Goodyear UG600 tires for two winters now and I still have nothing to say against them. The tread blocks are still mostly in place, which is impressive, as I've never seen them last this long. They grip the road extremely well and I was initially surprised by how much it improved the stability of my vehicle. The price was also a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend these tires.

Good tire, behaves well on ice, don't even talk about snow, doesn't spin out, holds well, noisy of course, like all studs, soft.
