Good day to all! For the third year (third winter) I've been driving on the UltraGrip 500 (255/60 R15), my car is heavy (SUV) with lowered suspension and locked differentials... It behaves well on snow-covered asphalt roads (expectedly), after the third winter all studs - precisely in place... There is a lot of "slipping" on my car through deep snow, my car allows me to drive through the open fields as I please to

The tires were passed down from the previous owner along with the car, I don't know how many kilometers they had on them, but I drove 12,000 kilometers over the winter and they were excellent, 5+! The tires are super, perform like a tank in the snow, hold the road perfectly in snow, ice and when I put them on I saw that half of the studs were missing and the tire was heavily worn in the middle (most likely over-inflated). After

The aftermarket is awash with dozens of tire and oil manufacturers. It takes a lot of time to figure out who's what. After thirty years behind the wheel, in my opinion, tires are only Goodyear, and oil is only Liqui Moly. I've been driving on winter Goodyear UltraGrip 500s (225/60/16) for ten years now. They're already getting worn out, but I'm reluctant to replace them - they're like forever.

Great choice! I think studs are not needed (IMHO)...

I've driven for 2 seasons, now the 3rd one has started (Renault Symbol). The reviews are only positive. I've driven on snowy crust (on the door, i.e. almost half a wheel) - it's a tractor! When I bought it, I didn't expect such performance from this tire. Yes, on dry asphalt it pulls a bit. Yes, on dry asphalt it's

    Good tires, but noisy

I've been driving them for the second year without removing (even in summer) and they're still alive (The original tires lasted less than a year - they almost all died at the same time - three wheels burst with an interval of three days like a bastard!). I installed them after the original Yokohama Geolander - of course, they're heavier and much noisier, but the difference is only on dry asphalt. The comfort is lower. But

I couldn't help but leave a review. I've been using one set of tires for 21 seasons. The tread remaining is from 5mm in the center to 6.5mm on the edges. By the 20th year of operation, 10-15% of the studs remained. And for the first time, I bought and added new studs. Over

the season, all the new studs are in place, and about 6 old ones have fallen out. I bought the tires in 2004 and put them on again yesterday. (2025) I drive mainly on asphalt, around Moscow and to the Black Sea. In recent years, I've been driving up to 12,000 km per winter. Approximately 80,000 km over 20 years. (The total mileage of the car since the purchase of the tires is ~280,000 km) The tires are simply excellent on deep snow. Especially in 2nd gear and full throttle. The bumper and bottom scrape, but the car moves confidently through off-road and snowdrifts. Or in 3rd gear during a snowstorm on the roads. On smooth ice, they quickly cut grooves and slide in place if you get stuck.

In 2007, I got this tire suggested by a friend who owned a BMW 7 series in 2004 and drove on these 'ultra-grip' tires, he was thrilled with the way they 'jolted the car off the starting line and braked the rear'. We live in the extreme north, so I listened to his opinion and bought the tire - no regrets.

Great tire, holds the road well, to be honest there is one drawback, very fragile sidewalls, last winter while avoiding a collision I had to jump over the curb, and now I'm left without two tires on one wheel, and there's a big bulge on the other one.
