Quieter than the first IceContact! This was actually the reason for the change :) Handling on ice and snow still not possible to check.
Not driven on the asphalt as well, but smoothness of ride and lack of obvious noise is pleasing.

I'm very satisfied. On a snowy road, I felt more confident than in the summer on dry asphalt. Control, braking, getting out of a snowbank - no problems arose.

One of the quietest tires!!! The noise from the 3-year-old summer DUNLOP is not particularly different)) Especially relevant for this class of cars, where the noise is poor, especially in the rear of the car.

The tires are simply super. Despite the low clearance of the Mini Cooper (front-wheel drive), they can overcome a fairly high snowbank formed when clearing snow along the road. I purchased them in size 205/45/17. Yes, I suppose the short wheelbase of the car also contributes to this, but still. On snowy mush, the handling on the road is very confident.

Overall, very good tires. They hold well on any surface, soft. For almost 5 years of careful operation, I haven't lost a single stud. The only thing, they are a bit noisy.

The best studded tires I've ever driven on.
Reliable handling, encourages fast driving. Managed to avoid skidding into a ditch in an icy turn when rushing to work. Minimal wear. All studs are in place. If it weren't for the punctures, it would be the perfect tire. Caught the first screw a month after installation. But that's not about the tire, but about luck and roads.

I have 245/50 tires. From the point of view of traction and handling, there are no questions, they are good tires. But from the point of view of durability and practicality, I rate them extremely low, especially considering the price. I hit a pothole (a week after installing new tires), roughly like the ones they cut out when making patches on the asphalt, and immediately punctured the tire in two places, with no possibility of repairing it. The tires are very fragile and the sidewalls are weak, even though I pump them up to 2.5 atm, now I drive carefully every time to avoid hitting a pothole, but I can feel that it will puncture the tire on medium-sized potholes. Previously, I drove on Bridgestone Blizzak for 10 years, with a maximum of a small bulge, and the potholes were more significant. I decided for myself that I won't buy these tires again, especially for that kind of money. I'll add that this year I specifically took studded tires, thinking they would behave more comfortably on the road (before that, I drove on non-studded tires for 10 years), but in fact, I didn't feel the difference, and on dry roads and in the spring, I will definitely be losing studs and making noise, so I'm for non-studded tires, especially in Moscow and the region (I go out of town every week, everything was fine on non-studded tires).

I re-purchased this model as I already had experience with the German version on the W204 and in the R16 size. The 225/50R17 I bought now turned out to be of Russian production. After installation, instead of the R18 summer tires, I was surprised by the lower braking efficiency on wet and even dry asphalt. The background noise is subjectively louder, although the sidewall is higher and softer than the summer tires. Also, some kind of cyclic hum appeared - possibly a feature of the tread pattern or geometry in this particular size. In short, I'm disappointed. So far, the mileage on them is less than 3,000 km, and we continue to observe.

Excellent road holding, soft, lots of sipes, long and harsh winters in our country require a lot of siping and sidewall stud coverage, so happy with the tire in all respects.

Aggressive tread - studs don't come loose, soft, comfortable and the cord in the sidewall provides sufficient stiffness during cornering. Too bad that in this size (R13) they won't be producing the flagship tire.
