The next-generation vehicle was presented in the fall of 2012. The van, despite being part of the commercial lineup, received a "kinetic design" from the brand's passenger cars, which favorably distinguished it from most of its "classmates" at that time. Another advantage over its predecessor was the appearance in the list of additional options of a single rear door instead of a 2-leaf one. In technical terms, the vehicle only partially retained its connection with the first-generation model, mainly due to the use of the modular Ford C platform. This, in particular, made it possible to significantly expand the number of modifications due to variants with an extended wheelbase. The latter are available not only as panel vans with different body heights but also as passenger minivans with the option to choose between 5- and 7-seat saloon execution. For the first 7 years of serial production, the car was equipped with gasoline and diesel engines of the Duratec and Duratorq families. In 2019, it underwent a major update, affecting both the design of the interior and exterior and the technical part. The model received up-to-date power units with a smaller working volume but with similar power and torque characteristics, primarily the 1.5-liter diesel engine of the EcoBlue family. The list of equipment included an 8-speed hydro-mechanical automatic transmission.
