In 2015, the North American concern returned the Aspire to the model range, but already in the form of a subcompact sedan created on the basis of the Ka+ for the Brazilian market, the length of which was reduced to "fit" into the lower of the existing tax categories in India, applied to cars less than 4 meters. Mostly this was done at the expense of the rear overhang, which reduced the volume of the luggage compartment to 359 liters. It is worth noting the concept of the sedan, which turned out to be quite "sporty". The engine range started with a turbocharged "triple" with a volume of 1.2 liters with variable valve timing. An alternative to it was a 4-cylinder engine with a volume of 1.5 liters, also with a turbocharger from the EcoSport crossover. In addition to them, the lineup included a modification with a diesel engine Duratorq - an in-line "four" with a volume of 1.5 liters. The power unit of the base gasoline and diesel versions works in tandem with a 5-speed manual transmission, and the 1.5-liter gasoline - with a 6-speed "robot" with two clutches.
