Tyre reviews Nokian WR G2. Page 5 2341

Excellent traction on snow and wet. There was a little drift on black ice once, but I was able to stop in half the distance other cars used. Tire wear is also excellent in dry and hot weather.

I've really thrashed this tyre. It's lasted twice as long as Perelli P6000 and still has a huge amount of life left in it. I've used it to really push and get more than 6000 miles out of a set, and they've almost made 15000, and I'm only halfway through the tread! The grip on snow is very good not that we get a lot of it in the UK! But when it did happen I got some very funny looks

They are perfect all year round and I haven't worn them out, although I was a couple of months late in changing to their summer tyres. They are brilliant in the snow. I live on a very steep hill, and they have never let me down, no matter the conditions.

Used only during winter, but great grip on the road, managed to get X5 (admittedly a poor off-roader I know, but you have to laugh!), which got stuck in the snow here in Scotland, definitely recommend for winter

Excellent tire, superb in wet conditions and surprisingly good in snow. Even if they are winter tires, which they perform more adequately in warmer conditions are showing good signs of wear.

Significant loss of traction in dry conditions when exceeding 70 mph. Wouldn't want them if I did a lot of highway driving in conditions that could be dry. But I don't do that kind of driving much, so I'm very pleased!

They have been on the car all winter and summer to date. It's a heavy vehicle on the front tyres but they have lasted better than the last Goodyear summer tyres. Bambi on ice would describe the car before these tyres now drives on snow which is impossible on normal tyres. We got stuck in our Ford Focus and used this to get everyone home! Dry driving is absolutely fine. Great on wet roads, this vehicle will only have these tyres fitted from now on.

Very good tires on snow and wet asphalt. Moved from Pirelli Sottozero to Nokian, and this is definitely better. They are spectacular longitudinally, while Pirelli were a bit better laterally. As this is a winter tire, it's softer, so driving on dry asphalt in warm weather, with a sporty style will wear the tire faster. This is a 100% recommended tire.

After extensive research and reading reviews from owners and independent tire companies, I put my money in these Nokians. I'm very glad I did! They inspire confidence that you'll be able to get home from work in a snowstorm or get to the shops or pick up the family mill - as we've done with them. A bit noisy, but that's completely negligible compared to the performance of the tires. You need this in a deep Scottish winter!

Used as an all year round all weather tyre. Good performance in the summer (in Scotland) and excellent performance in winter. Now on my third set of Nokians, the last 2 having outlived the WR All-Weather Plus. Can't understand why I would want to use any other tyres - vastly better winter performance than any other all weather tyres I've used (Vredestein) and absolutely no comparison to standard summer tyres for winter use - with Continental sports and Michelin
