For a long time in the spring, we were thinking about which tires to choose to replace the old Continental Premium 5 (we wanted quiet, medium-soft, and comfortable ones). We read hundreds of reviews. There were no good Continental tires on the market, and the new modifications were too soft and wobbly.

And we decided to take a risk and try the new Nokian Hakka Blue3 in size 225/55 R16. There were no reviews, but the description was interesting...

And we never regretted this decision - the tires turned out to be excellent! We decided to test them and write a review.

We ran them in according to all the rules for up to 1000 km at a speed of no more than 60 km/h. We had to be patient, but it was worth it.

The tires turned out to be quite quiet, with excellent stable handling on dry and wet roads, no aquaplaning, no tilting on turns, and they held the road perfectly. We got caught in a wall of rain in a thunderstorm on the new Riga highway - everyone was standing on the side of the road, but we were driving, and the tires showed themselves to be perfect! Comfortable driving was very important to me, medium softness - just what I needed, not more, not less. Speed is gained without problems. The sidewalls are strong, we drove for a summer season - there are no bulges, no microcracks (this was a problem with the predecessor Nokian Hakka Blue2), and almost no signs of wear after a season. We drove 150 km to our country house every weekend all summer, maybe not a lot, but the roads were all kinds, including dirt roads.

I recommend them to everyone, I never regretted the decision I made.

I've never had quieter tires

Proven brand. Not noisy. Most importantly, they perform excellently in the rain.

Good tires. Only there is one BUT the sidewall rubber is too soft. Not for nothing, many of my earlier NOKIAN tires had bulges, not strong but they were.

The tires were pleasing, they handle wet roads perfectly. They are quiet at air temperatures from +5 to +7. At lower temperatures, they become noticeably stiffer and noisier.

For 3 seasons, 90% highway, drove about 45,000 km, remaining tread depth 2 mm, handled great, no aquaplaning noticed, quiet, but worn out, in the 3rd season the steering wheel started to vibrate, bought Ikon Character Eco, let's see how long they last

I was looking for a replacement for Michelin Primacy 3, as they started to make a lot of noise after two seasons, so the comparison will mainly be with them.

In terms of noise level, Nokian is quieter. I've also driven them for two seasons, and the noise level has remained the same. They handle well on the road at high speeds. In the rain, they didn't let me down.

Now about the drawbacks. The first one occurred during installation. They are poorly balanced. A lot of weights were glued to the new tires. As much as 170 grams on one wheel. The second minus. In the second season, an unpleasant effect appeared - when turning at an intersection at a slightly higher speed, and there are minor irregularities in the asphalt, there is a feeling that the rear of the car starts to skid slightly. On dry asphalt! A very unpleasant feeling.

I installed these tires in size 215/50/17 on my Vesta Cross (after the standard Pirelli Cinturato P7 205/50/17), the impressions are very positive. They handle the road perfectly, on wet asphalt they drive like on rails. They are quite quiet, it's comfortable to drive long distances. On dirt roads, everything is also great. We'll see about the wear, I hope they will last for 3 seasons.

From April to May, I drove approximately 2500 km on a new set of Nokian Hakka Blue 3 225/45 R17 94V XL tires. The maximum speed reached was 140 km/h, and there were no emergency stops. I drove around the Moscow region, where the road conditions vary. I like the smooth ride, quiet driving, and good grip on the road. I am satisfied with the product's characteristics and the purchase overall.
