This is the best winter tyre I have ever had. I compare it with the Polish Debica Frigo, the Czech Barum Polaris, the Firestone Winterhawk 2 and the Continental made Uniroyal MS Plus 6. This one beats them all in every category. Dry grip and braking are very good as well as braking. I had to brake a few times very hard from 100-120 km/h to 0, and the ABS didn't intervene much. It is similar

I mounted them for winter after the summer B250s. The difference between these tires and the summer B250s is enormous and definitely not in favor of the Japanese rubber. The ride is now so smooth that by the time you hear the dull distant thuds of the tires hitting the asphalt, you've already passed them. The tire tracks are basically non-existent. Perhaps it's also due to the size 185/65/15. If you take the turn a bit too fast, the response

This is city tire, confirmed 100%.

The character of this "rubber product" has been revealed! We don't like snow, we don't like ice, i.e. we ride well only on dry asphalt (sometimes wet). ABS snaps for any reason, even at very low speed. Acceleration on snow, I'm silent. But a dry track is above all praise and 160 km/h without much discomfort. In character, it's a full-fledged all-season

"For the characteristic frequent weather changes in our area

I wouldn't say that the tires don't like snow, yes, ABS works on packed snow, but in order to stop the car and not just skid and do nothing more, I think the 'city-suburban' tires are quite good for the characteristic frequent weather changes in our area. Well, and if someone drives only on snow and ice, then studs are just what they need."

    Fully justified expectations
Winter 2007-2008 was not extreme. On the highway in a snowfall at 100-120 km/h, it is quite stable. On dry asphalt, 220 km/h is confident. No extra noise or other inconveniences. Did not drive on dirt, there was no ice.
    Pros: Good for everything.
    Cons: Practically none

    We'll see

I bought and only then decided to read. People, what the hell, can anyone name a tire that behaves on snow, ice, slush, in rain, snowfall, and at 30 degrees Celsius? Ah, can't do it? It's just because I only know one such tire - solid, armored, reinforced, for a tank/BTR/BTRD. And for something passenger - choose the compromise that best suits your location and car. I'm shocked

Nokian spoiled WR with this double

What to say, yesterday in Kiev there was a snowfall. I drove around the city in two cars in turn. The old WR is driving without problems at 77 km/h (Saab-95 Aero). The new WR2 at 60 km/h can't keep up with the new BMW-325 on a straight road. In the yard, there is ice under the snow, and on the same section, the WR2 has a braking

I've been a Nokian fan my whole life and I was always dreaming of getting a set of winter studs and I stupidly bought WR G2 for my Xterra in 2008.

I live in the Moscow region, mostly drive on the MKAD. That was the worst tire I've ever had - I couldn't even imagine it would be such a nightmare! It was unstable on snow and ice, even on the slightest morning frost. If there's a 5

Good evening, I decided to share my experience using this “miracle” tire in the Krasnodar region, on the Kuban routes: Gelendzhik-Novorossiysk-Anapa-Temryuk-Slavyansk-Krasnodar, I've been driving on it since October 2012, and now it's already the 4th month, it has covered 5500 km. I think I'll start with the advantages:

    Did not meet expectations

This tire is for a mild European winter and average t-0c (it behaves very much like an all-season tire). If you drive in the city in snowy slush, the tire is excellent, but!!! outside the city and even more so on a snowy dirt road, be careful. It's stiff and noisy on asphalt, which was very disappointing. Last winter I drove on Fulda Montero 2, which is quieter. No obvious advantages were found,
