Tyre reviews Nokian WR G2. Page 4 2341

Good tire for the price, my previous tires were Pirelli. If you're on a budget these tires are great in any condition. One thing I did notice though, when cornering you can definitely feel a bit of a push, which can be a bit scary, like the tire is going to roll on you. Saying that though, it's not a problem once you get used to it.

Impressive tread pattern for a winter tire in this class. Don't expect it to be like a 185/60- 15 studded, and you'll be happy. The handling is more like summer tires! No traction on ice at all, but that's not a problem not only with tires :)

Size 225/55 R-16. It handles wet snow normally, but when the road is icy, it's better not to risk it, although any non-studded tire slips on ice. In terms of driving characteristics, it seemed a bit stiff on asphalt. Among the advantages, it is worth noting the reinforced sidewall in case of an unexpected tire puncture.

The car is suitable for Almaty's winter, where there is snow on the roads for a maximum of a week, and the rest is dry asphalt.
On ice, the car starts with difficulty, on an icy slope with even greater difficulty, and it's better to start from a hill.
When transitioning from icy sections of asphalt/ice/asphalt, the front of the car wags.
I didn't notice any problems on a wet highway.- Vehicle:

For the entire season, the snow grip of these tires is outstanding, much better than the Quatrac 3 I had on my previous car. Not quite as good as the Wintrac 4Xtreme I also had, but close. Performance in slush and flooded roads is also very good. I'm not aggressive, so can't comment on ultimate dry performance, but no issues for me. I put them on in early September and have been running them now in February at

Excellent grip on snow/slush/rain. Not as good as the old W + or Dunlop 3D on leafy ice or on wear, but far exceeds in any weather. Anyway, I didn't buy them for quiet operation, I bought them so I wouldn't end up on the side of the road and still laughing at being offered a 4x4 tow on the M8!

Fantastic tires! When the snow fell, the car didn't even feel it! I mean, the traction was amazing! I was the first one to take off at the traffic light and I would accelerate ahead by at least 80-100 meters from the hotel before other cars would start to gain momentum. The grip angle is amazing. I don't know what these tires are made of, but they're amazing! Rain during high-speed travel is not a problem. In fact, I was amazed to

I bought these tires to get me through the winter, but they were so good that I left them on the vehicle. Came from Bridgestone Potenza runflats, which were terrible for sensor, road noise, price and wet road performance all things that Nokian excel at. This is my new go-to tire choice.

I live in the north east of Scotland and the weather has been quite bad this year with a lot of snow. The Nokian tyres I purchased handled these conditions very well as well as dry and wet roads. As you would expect from winter tyres they are a bit more noisy than normal. The tyre wear is very good. Would definitely buy them again.

Of course a good tire, I bought it for just 550 euros and it served me well in the snow. Especially on the rear wheel of the driven car, a snow tire is a must. And I know how to make one from the Finish! I should also mention its high performance on dry winter roads.
