Tyre reviews Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. Page 2 2416

The best tires I've ever owned, I will continue to buy these tires as long as Goodyear makes them. I tried the P Zero Nero that originally came with the car, then had the Goodyears installed. Handling was out of this world and driving on wet roads was a huge step forward. Tried the Pilot Sport and was not impressed at all. Tread was too hard and compromised on turns. With the lesser tread on the tire sidewalls the turns were compromised even more. Actually

These tires suit this car, they look good, and they work well, especially when driven in an energetic manner, and I highly recommend them. The recent snow wave has been causing us some small problems, but then it caused a lot of other people problems too, and I don't feel that it was anything to do with the tires in particular, the Tigra is just not four-wheel drive, is it?

The tires wore out very quickly, and I was told by a guy from the suspension that they shouldn't be driven on Irish roads due to the rating connection there, but he only noticed that after I had already handed one in, so I couldn't return them. The grip was very good though.

I don't think this tire is the last tire now and no longer at the top. It has great traction in any conditions, but wears out quickly, especially on the edges. It also tramlines and follows ruts more than other tires.

Good traction exception in snow, but not bad. Suitable for use on track day though with really good grip on turns at speed the only thing that lets it down is the tire wear which is almost to the limit after just a year, which is ridiculous

Previous GSD3's were made in USA/Germany and seemed to be made better than the last 4 I had (made in China, currently). While still better tires than budget premiums that aren't built as well as Goodyear.

This is the second set of these tires I've had, my first set was on a Nissan Skyline and was impressed with them, I bought them for my Nissan Note to avoid buying the expensive special size Continental tires that are made purely for this car. It does the trick wonderfully, and would buy them again next time.

These tires are great for everything except clothing. I had a set of Toyo Proxes T1-R equipped before and made almost double the mileage before they needed replacement. The F1's actually provided only a small amount of extra grip on wet road and on dry I couldn't tell the difference between the 2. They're brilliant, but I'd like to buy Toyos next time.

Amazing tires, I've had them on my last 3 cars. Currently have a set on the rear of my series 5 and a set of Toyo proxys on the front, my RWD car will be lacking in turnability until the eagles even think about letting go - well Recommended tires!

They are on the rear, so Arent under more extremes like on the front. They are not noisy, no annoying vibrations from them, unlike my fronts which had some random brand on. The tread lasts ages, about 5000 and still plenty of life in them still. I never get rear end slipping on my car, only front end turn in occasionally, but my not a boy racer car anyway.
