If I briefly summarize, the tire is very good, especially for big cities and trips in the suburbs, whether regular or not. Great braking on any asphalt (dry or wet), good traction and confident driving on snow and slush, confident braking and good traction on ice and packed snow, very quiet for the studs, completely insensitive to the lane on asphalt, not prone to lateral skidding. Very small questions to the braking on loose snow - it brakes well in principle, but could be even better

Second L200 (drivers wife). The first L200 slid on Conti 4x4 IceContact 5 winters, and the wife was satisfied, so the choice was predetermined.
One season of use - no lost spikes, although the new engine "encourages" sharp starts. Handling and braking allow (at 50 kg load in the trunk) to feel like spring or autumn.
Under the New Year, in Pallasovka Volgograd region on a noted

If compared with Yokogama, Gislaved, Dunlop - the choice is simply Conti. It behaves very confidently on almost any surface! A bit worse on a bare ice sheet, there are lateral skids, but it's all very predictable, you just have to understand it. The price, of course, is not small, but it has proven itself perfectly! It does not wheel-spin on dry asphalt nor on the Moscow slush, it grips confidently on a loose snow, and

Hello everyone! I've used auto tires from this manufacturer (winter/summer) for the first time, on different cars, and it's always been a 5-star experience. After getting a Mercedes Gl, I didn't hesitate to buy Continental ContilceContact 2 SUV (studded) tire. The tire is soft, with a lot of studs. It behaves well on highways, confidently holding the vehicle when overtaking on the left (usually snow-covered) side. I was also pleased

Before these, I had Bridgestone Blizzak Spaik 02 Japanese tires, so I'll be comparing them to those. The spikes on the previous tires would often slip in turns, but it was somehow manageable; these slip less often, but when they do, they try to grip again immediately, which causes jerks and the car doesn't exit a skid smoothly, instead, it jerks, giving a momentary feeling of loss of control. I need to get used to this behavior by driving on an icy track.
One thing that's definitely bad is driving through snow mush between clear tire tracks; up to 100 km/h, it's tolerable, but beyond that, it's terrifying. The car is simultaneously being led and tossed (the suspension is in excellent condition, just to note). This might be related to the mechanical all-wheel drive, but with the Bridgestone Blizzak Spaik 02, I didn't even think about it, I just drove where I wanted.
At a slow pace in city driving, the tires are perfect; from a standstill, they don't spin, but move, and turns at low speed are like on rails, whether it's ice or slush. On clean asphalt, the tires hold better than any other tires I've had in 16 years of driving. They don't like deep puddles at high speed; 3-5 cm of depth feels like half a wheel, but I didn't experience aquaplaning no matter how hard I tried to understand under what conditions it might occur. There is noise, but much less than I expected. After 3000 km, the spikes are still in place.
You decide for yourself; for city driving, they're perfect, but on the highway, be more careful with overtaking and lane changes.

Short: Disappointed, lose studs quickly and then it's sad.
First, my husband didn't get the tire warmed up, he drove 120 km/h on the asphalt on tires that weren't even warmed up. The studs hit the mudguards right away. But after reading reviews, I realized we're not the only ones to lose studs.
It was used in Siberia for the first three years. There were no issues with the tire there. Probably, it would

Once in 2009 I tried a Continental summer and understood that it's truly premium. Since then, from 2011 I haven't used Continental tyres again. This year, after changing my car, I wanted to feel the premium tyres as I was not only looking for handling but also for comfort. Since the market already had the third generation of the IceContact, I managed to find acceptable prices for the second generation and purchased a set of new tyres. During my first trip to the shop,

I spent a long time choosing and comparing reviews, so I decided to write my own, in case it might be helpful to someone else. Until this tyre I had used the Hakkapeliitta 5 and 7 on several cars, and of course I thought, "I'll definitely buy the Hakkapeliitta 9..."... but in this size the Hakkapeliitta 9 turned out to be 34% more expensive, and that narrowed my choice down (after all, it

At the beginning, when I took the new tire and had to make an emergency stop on a clean asphalt, it stopped a few centimeters short. When the winter period started with snow and ice, it performed well. It confidently enters curves. The noise level is quite acceptable while driving. I am satisfied with the tires. We'll see how many studs will come off after the winter season.
