Tyre reviews Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8. Page 6 685

I purchased Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 175/70 R13 82T XL in early winter to replace the old Nordman 4, which was very worn out. Throughout this snowless winter, the studs remained in place, with minimal wear at 13,000 km. The tire is definitely of a higher class than its younger Nordman 4 counterpart in all respects. I've used it for fishing, hunting, and everything in between. On ice, it handles

The best tire I have ever had on my car. As I love to drift: entering corners with the clutch, donut spinning in place until 4th gear, the rear tires won't last long. So, I ordered two tires. Before I tried expensive brands and cheap ones - it didn't matter, I had to change them twice a season on the rear axle. Hakkapeliitta8 will last a season, and even a start of the next season. If you drive calmly,

Good tires. Not the first time I've driven with Nokian. This is my first season with these tires, so I'm not sure about their durability yet. I've ruthlessly exploited other Nokian studded tires for four seasons, and only after that did they end up in the rag bag. Handling, directional stability on snow and ice are good. It's not bad on dry and wet asphalt, but it's not a summer tire either. Noise level is low.

Best tire I've ever had! Rode on Bridgestone, Yokohama, and others, but Hakkapeliitta tops them all. Holds the road like it's on rails on both icy roads and frozen asphalt. Requires proper break-in if you don't want to lose the tread. Noise level is perfectly acceptable. Expensive, but worth every penny!

They are reliable in all weather conditions and on any surface. Used on a BMW 530I (G30) rear-wheel drive. Never got stuck anywhere, anytime. I drive in Moscow and in the region, regularly drive long distances, no issues at all.

Maybe the best winter tire,
Great grip and softness of ride.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 185/65 R15 92T XL (studded) - started up in Vorkuta! Replaced with Yokohama Ice Guard 35 studded tires previously. First impressions of the new tires: stability and smooth ride. The studded surface looks more reliable, the seating area is oval and larger in size. Hopefully, they will hold up better. Currently, I'm running the tires in for break-in, speed not exceeding

I bought this tire right after purchasing a new car in late 2013. I had read a lot about it and its competitors. According to the tests, the tire was a fire, but I was worried about one thing – it was made in Russia. In the end, I can say that the tires are made here are excellent! By the 36,000 km mark, including 18-20,000 km in the winter, I didn't lose a single stud. I drove to

Compared to Haka 4 (original) - it's very similar. Managed 5500 km with snow, ice, and wet roads. Now I'm mostly driving on dry asphalt (regional specifics). It's noisy, of course, but within reason: it doesn't annoy me. The studs are still in place (occasional aggressive driving).

The best for winter! Besides the Hack 8, there was no option to purchase studs in size 225/45/17 RunFlat. During the winter, the studs almost didn't come off (maybe they're still in place, I don't see any holes) even with rare drifts on ice and fresh snow. Until then, there was a Hack 7, which lasted for four seasons.
