The main advantage of these tires is predictability. They don't require any adaptation after switching from summer tires. The only thing that caused some complaints was directional stability. In all other respects, the Finnish developers are once again at the top of their game! I recommend them.

Tires for northern frosty and snowy areas. Saved in various situations: during a forced overtaking at 120 km/h, loose snow on the side, ice and on top of it "dirty mush" on the road, the car didn't even waver from the direction I was heading. Well, of course, everyone needs something different from tires: some need comfort and quiet, some need confidence in handling, etc., but
Hakapeliitta 5 combines the maximum

Simply, super !!!!!!!!!!!
I've been driving on these tires in the northern regions of Russia. For the conditions they were designed for, I haven't encountered better tires!!! Ice, packed snow, snow mush, deep snow - all of this is within their power!!!
Solid 4
I purchased Nokian Hakkapeliitta SUV 235/65R17 in the fall of 2005. The tire is designed for studs, but I opted for the non-studded version. When it was new (winter 05/06), I initially felt like it was wandering (had to make adjustments while driving, subjectively - four-wheel drive) for about a month in Kiev. Over the winter of 05/06, I drove 13,

Everything is excellent, only the tire is very noisy on asphalt.
The rubber is good, but in winter on city asphalt it is very noisy!!! And the road is not always snow-covered, the hum is just annoying. On loose snow it goes like a fairy tale..., without noise. The feeling is great, the tire behaves excellent, only this hum from the rubber...

On winter roads, it provides absolute confidence in the car's handling.
This tire not only allows you to leave first from a traffic light on ice and snow, leaving behind more powerful all-wheel drive cars on "summer" tires, to enter turns at speed and brake in time before the ABS intervenes ... in addition, it is comfortable (except for the noise on asphalt). You forget that it's not summer outside and you should drive more carefully. The directional stability on the highway (130

The best of winter tires
have already driven 2 seasons, almost all the studs are in place, no wear is noticeable, and they behave perfectly on both asphalt and snow, all the car's reactions are predictable.
Pros: perfectly holds the road
Cons: did not notice- Control on a dry road

Took the same one next!!!
Driven 28,000 km - not a single stud lost, very predictable and reliable in all modes. Comfortable and soft, not particularly noisy, stable in turns. Driving style - sharp, jerky, car BMW X5 320 horsepower. Sold in May on this tire, the buyer drove on it until August))), until he changed the tire, praised it. Disadvantages?- if only more serious off-road tires...

They are expensive for their quality
I drove on Hakkapeliitta 4 - the same thing, only in 2 seasons on it one stud came off, and that was cut off (not flown away), on Hakkapeliitta 5, a lot of studs flew out in one season (you get tired of counting). On wet asphalt, I once skidded strongly, I didn't expect it, but as I understood later, it's a disease of all studded tires

You can safely take Russian production, the spikes just need to stick out 1.5 mm from the tread
There was a Hakka 4 Russian and I really liked it! I took Hakka 5 and also Russian and only positive emotions, and no risk on the road (if you're smart, of course). Any winter road is easy for it. The only downside is the noise at 110 km/h, it's like driving a Kamaz, but it's very gri
