I bought this set of tyres second-hand in excellent condition with a size of 265/70/16, produced in 2010 in Russia. I was influenced by previous experience with tyres of a similar size (175/70/13) produced in Finland. This tyre is excellent for low temperatures, snow, slush and is careful on ice. At positive temperatures, it starts to float, significantly increases the braking distance, it's a bit better with a wet surface. At speeds over

Went through 6 seasons, extremely satisfied with wear resistance and handling. Ordered the same after 6 years.

+ Soft, slightly noisy, good acceleration, fair price.
- Quick wear of tread (wore out the center of the tread by 50% on all wheels after 3000km at a relaxed driving style), "sticky" when handling, especially when braking on ice (compared to HAKKA 8). When balancing on R19 wheels with more than 100g of weight on each (summer Michelin 20-30g per wheel).

I used it for 4 years normally, all wear indicators at 6mm, 10% of tread depth gone, and one of them developed a bulge this fall (as explained by the experts due to its age). I bought it in 2012 at a good discount in a store, it was a 2009 model.

The worst tires I've ever used! First year was not that bad, but after that it was terrible. In turns it drags you to one side, on dry asphalt it floats, and God forbid it's icy... It doesn't even hold course on a tow! And after 3 seasons, just 30% of the tread left, started to crack along the lugs! True, it's a Russian production, maybe the Finns are better, but I'll never risk buying this

I've been running on Niva from October to May! Proven to be an excellent winter tire, twice saved me from hazardous situations + 5!

Ran about 60,000 km. Since purchasing in 2009, Track. City. Loose snow. Never let me down. Maybe a bit noisy but not critically. Holds the road perfectly. Grabs as you'd say, like a pro. Swapped it late spring, as studs had worn off, but surprisingly didn't blow out. One wheel started to get a bit worn (used a cord) but that's probably just age. Rest of the tread is still 4/

I'd like to start my review of NHP 5 tires with the fact that I've had experience with this tire twice. The first time was on a VAZ 2109 with a 175/70/R13 size and I was impressed with the tire's flawless handling on snowy roads at speeds up to 100 km/h. The feeling was like driving on dry asphalt, despite the weather: snowdrifts and -15...-20'C temperatures. My second purchase was a deliberate

Excellent winter tire where roads are not cleaned of ice and compacted snow. The studs hold up perfectly, in 9 seasons on each wheel there were only 2-3 studs missing, and they are mainly not thrown out of the mount place, but the stud breaks off, which speaks of good stud embedding in the rubber. Despite the fact that the tire is used from mid-October when snow has not yet fallen and until mid-April when snow has already melted, there is no noticeable wear
