Tyre reviews Goodyear UltraGrip Ice+. Page 3 306

The tyres are not bad, in many ways I agree with the comments already written. The main advantages are the price, quietness on the road, confident driving on dry, wet asphalt and loose snow. The downsides are that it slightly understeers on ice when turning, if the speed is not reduced to 15 km/h. Last year I replaced it with the Ultra grip Ice 2, which has a modified tread pattern and an increased number of sipes. I found it much easier

Amazing tire. Economical, good on snow and ice, decent on pavement. Only one problem - weak sidewall, I had cracks on two wheels from the inside (made in Slovenia). I ditched two tires and bought Ultra Grip Ice+ XL, same tread pattern and compound, but with reinforced sidewall. Very, very good tire.

I purchased these tires (205/60R16) in the fall of 2021. The first impression was - HORROR! They don't hold the road at speed, the car handling is poor... In general, it's a complete disappointment. But as I continued to use them, the situation began to change for the better. And now, with a mileage of around 2000 km on these tires, I can definitely say that they are excellent for urban use: snow, snowy slush - they handle it perfectly, with a very low noise level. As the mileage increases, the handling and behavior of the tires have improved dramatically!!! It's like they're completely different tires.
P.S. I noticed that as the temperature drops below -5, the tires start to work even better! And the lower the temperature, the better they work.

Earth and sky compared to a half-worn Nokian. The Goodyear rubber has very responsive handling. Not once got stuck in the snow, including deep snow. I got out of snowdrifts without any problems, although again, you need to park correctly. In frost, very good and predictable braking, although there were a couple of situations where the braking distance was longer than usual (keep a distance in winter, people!). On dry asphalt, it drives like in summer, I didn't notice any aquaplaning, although there were puddles, I didn't drive over 100 on a heavily snow-covered highway, I'm for safety. I can't say anything about wear resistance - the mileage is still very small. In general, I'm happy with the tires, I recommend them. I didn't notice any particular noise, again, this is not like in the summer on the highway, when you have the opportunity to drive fast. At low speeds, there is almost no noise, and at high speeds, the road did not allow me to check.

Good day, I've never written reviews before, but this time I decided to write one. I bought these tires because almost all reviews were 5-star, I didn't believe it and bought them to try out. Before, I drove on LIPUCHKA, only once it didn't work out for me, I installed Goodyear UltraGrip Ice+ 195/55 R15 85 T LIPUCHKA on my Kalina. I was shocked, everything written is true - it handles well, it's not noisy, it holds the road, and brakes like it has studs, and on mud, it has no equal compared to studded tires. Before that, I had many different tires - Michelin, Kumho, and Gislaved. It's similar to Gislaved in some ways. The only thing is to be careful on bare ice, it brakes on the verge, it's a bit scary. But overall, 5 stars, 100% on all characteristics.

At the mileage of 2-3 thousand kilometres, I can only leave a positive review.
The first and most important - the price-quality ratio. It doesn't make a sound, holds the road perfectly. Rode on dry asphalt, on the icy road and in the snowdrifts (I'm writing a review at the moment when the Moscow region is snowed in).

With these tires, I realized that the car can be driven in the winter without losing dynamics at the same time maintaining traction and gliding smoothly. Before, I didn't like driving in the winter as the studs annoyed me and the car behaved differently from the summer, it was uncomfortable. With ice+, I feel no winter restrictions at all and drive calmly in any weather in silence and comfort.

R14/185/65. Now in my second winter, wear is minimal, I'm very pleased. Compared to the asymmetric Bridgestone I can't remember, I installed on my Toyota Fankar, this one grips the road much better, especially in snowfall. It handles black ice well too, possibly because my ABS kicks in late and doesn't interfere, but the fact is, you can drive on it. This winter, as you can see, is quite mixed - snow,

I've been driving on it for a month now, and it performs well both on wet and dry asphalt. Yet, I haven't had a chance to drive on snow and ice. The ride comfort and directional stability are at an excellent level. At speeds up to 20 km/h, I can distinctly hear the sound of the rubber, which disappears as soon as I pick up speed. It's probably the small grooved tread pattern that's doing the trick. This, in turn, has a

Decent tires. I've driven one season in Moscow. They handle perfectly on asphalt, I haven't driven on snowdrifts or heavy ice.
