I've been using winter Continentals from 2002, studded and studless. On my previous Mazda 3, I drove on Icecontakt2 for two seasons and not a single stud came loose. True, it's noisy, and it handles worse on wet roads compared to studless, but that's minor.

Hello everyone! I bought these tires for fast driving on ice. Unfortunately, the tire siping quality has deteriorated significantly, and the studs are no longer sitting at the same depth in the tread. I would really like to purchase tires with studs just like they used to be (the stud was 1mm wider).

I bought my wife a Focus 3 station wagon. Occasionally, I also drive the car myself, compared to playing golf - driving is my relaxation. No axle wear is observed. Slip is minimal. I'm not a bad driver, but the tires give me a boost, I'll put it that way. In the snow and slush - it takes off, no hesitation. On ice, it stops fairly predictably. On asphalt, it's a bit noisy, but in Ulyanov

Holds the road wonderfully at high speeds (180 km/h), through any corners. Ran in according to the manual. Now has sudden starts and braking. Not one bead has been lost.

I opted between Hakapeli and Conti. I first used Hakapeli on my front-wheel drive previous Škoda (Hakapeli 7), and I was thrilled. The only drawback was that three of the wheels were produced in Russia, and one was Finnish. The Finnish one still has studs, whereas the Russian one had a significant stud loss by the end of the first season. However, you can't buy the Finnish one in Russia. I looked for Conti made in
