Thought it would be quieter.

I've been using winter Continentals from 2002, studded and studless. On my previous Mazda 3, I drove on Icecontakt2 for two seasons and not a single stud came loose. True, it's noisy, and it handles worse on wet roads compared to studless, but that's minor.

Decent tires, but overpriced.

Unfortunately, the tire siping quality has deteriorated significantly, and the studs are no longer sitting at the same depth in the tread.
