The charging device was also updated. It still charged the battery from an AC power source with a power of 3 kW in 16 hours, from a DC source - in 40 minutes to 80% of the capacity, but at the same time, it could be used as a backup power source for household consumers. Another important innovation was the appearance of the ProPilot complex of electronic assistants with automatic lane keeping, braking, and acceleration, depending on the distance to the vehicle in front. The car began to be equipped with an automatic parking system, which not only turns the steering wheel on its own but also slows down and accelerates. Another difference from the predecessor was the so-called "electronic pedal" - this is a mode of energy recovery, which is carried out every time the speed is smoothly reduced with acceleration up to 0.2 g, which, according to the developers, is enough for 90% of cases of using classic braking mechanisms.
