The Nissan Fuga was produced from 2004 to 2022. The car was a mid-size sedan, one of the variants of the Infiniti M/Q70, designed for the Japanese domestic market, with a number of distinctive features.

First Generation

The concept of the car, presented in 2004, was largely similar to the Gloria model of the late 1950s, which was characterized by a combination of sporting character in handling and rich equipment. Second Generation

The second-generation car debuted in Japan in late 2009. It differed from its predecessor with a more harmonious exterior design, stylistically consistent with the models produced by the brand in the 1960s and 1970s. Another feature was the revised engine range, which lost the V8 gasoline engines in the top versions, which was due to the specifics of Japanese taxation. The alternative was a V-shaped "six" with a volume of 3.5 liters, part of a hybrid installation working on the economical Atkinson cycle. An electric motor with a capacity of 68 horsepower was located between the engine and transmission, supplying traction to the wheels in parallel with the main power unit. The traction battery for it with a capacity of 1.3 kWh was located under the rear sofa. All engines were combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission from Jatco, which had four operating modes - standard, sports, eco, and snow. Among other options present in the standard equipment of this sedan, it is worth noting the active noise cancellation system. For an additional fee, there were front seats with electric heating and ventilation, 16-channel Bose acoustics, and a folding footrest for rear passengers. A significant part of the equipment was represented by safety systems. First of all, this is the lane keeping system, which, based on the image from the rearview camera and "blind spot" sensors, measured the distance to the marking or obstacle and pressed the brake pads on one side, returning the car to its lane.
