    There is a 19-inch wheel, and even with a width of 235, the tire is absolutely quiet. Softness, of course, affects wear, but it's better than having a creepy hum in the car. I won't say that the sidewall is very thick, but I rarely drive on bad roads, so it's not critical for me. The grip is good, and on ice it brakes normally.
