Tyre reviews Goodyear UltraGrip Ice 2+. Page 1 12

The 235/55 R17 UltraGrip Ice 2 delighted me and my Tiguan this winter. Saying they're good is an understatement. From late autumn to early spring, I drove on both black ice and 10 cm of snow, 5 km of icy road, slowly but confidently. The tires are very grippy, sometimes it seems like they're about to skid, but the car still moves and steers perfectly, thanks to the deep treads it easily exits the icy ruts. On the highway, they are completely silent, the car glides easily, and with them, I achieved the fuel consumption recommended by the car manufacturer.

They managed to drive a short distance, but the road to Sochi, along the serpentine, at night, in heavy rain, and sometimes snow (especially in mountainous areas), was passed with dignity. There were no complaints.

Good grip - in the city and on the highway, it behaves confidently, very quiet. It's a bit annoying that the sidewall is soft for comfort, but overall, it seems like the tire is good, since I was pushing it and hitting potholes, and it didn't matter to it

Generally, I used to think that friction tires were a luxury for Europeans, but last year I moved to Krasnodar, saw what my new colleagues were driving, and bought Goodyear UltraGrip Ice 2+ and here's what I can say - I don't want to drive on studded tires anymore. This tire is incomparably more comfortable, and it handles the road no worse than studded tires. Of course, in my hometown of Murmansk, it wouldn't have worked, but where possible, take it, not studs.

Excellent tires! Yes, not the cheapest. But it's quiet and has excellent grip on ice. After winter, the wear is minimal, I think the tires will last at least 4 seasons. Worth the money.

-20 and my UltraGrip Ice 2+ are soft and quiet. On black ice they are excellent, in snow a bit worse but there is traction, braking is good. In the city I liked their quietness and reduced fuel consumption. On black ice they brake even better than in the rain already in spring.

Quiet, great traction on black ice, no noise on the highway at speed, driving a car with these wheels is a pleasure, even at a decent speed. Goodyear once again did not disappoint.

Goodyear wins in various nominations and shows excellent results in tests, so I wasn't scared of the prices. And the quality didn't disappoint, excellent tread, after 2 seasons a bit more than half worn out, I think I'll definitely get 2 more seasons out of them. The tires are soft, quiet, with excellent grip. They handle great at high speeds.

The tires are super! Studded tires from other manufacturers are really resting. Today, 12.02.24, there was icy rain all night and morning. Can you imagine what the road was like? On the ascent when exiting onto the main road, crossovers and passenger cars were having a hard time getting out. In my car, I calmly drove up the hill from a standstill and continued on. In the frost at -30, it didn't get any lower for us. In snowy slush, it behaves more than predictably. The tire size is 225/40 R19. The sidewalls are strong. On asphalt, it's a bit noisy. It handles turns excellently. The only minus is the price - 28,000 rubles per tire. I recommend it to everyone.

The old winter boots have died and for this season, I, following the advice of the salespeople in the salon, bought myself Goodyear UltraGrip Ice 2+ tires. The managers did not deceive - it's really very high-quality tread, confidently holds the road, and also copes well with deep snow. Well, as for the noise level, compared to my previous studded tires, I don't even want to talk about it. In short, I'm satisfied
