Excellent price-quality ratio. We take and test the best for our vehicles: Dunlop, Michelin, Pirelli, Continental, Yokohama, Nokian, Bridgestone. A bit better on wet braking (but I'm nitpicking)... they handle turns on asphalt, perform great on snow, and the edges are not polished from the factory - sharp side lugs grip predictably on ice / incline / ruts (surprisingly without studs). They excel in deep snow (all our cars are 4WD). Wear is minimal, even, and with normal driving, they're close to "eternal"...
Not loud, not the lightest, fuel economy - they roll without gas, almost without resistance. High-quality material: as an indicator, they don't harden even at -30°C (ours are from Japan, and the Asians don't skimp on rubber + technology) which results in dense effort (ideal control on the wheel, even in turns at 110-150 km/h). With softness, there's no fatal wear, they're well-made (out of 300 tires, not a single defect). In our region, we have average roads: on average, out of 100 tires, only 1-2 blowouts occur, and they withstand around 75-85 km/h on a puncture (this cord stiffness doesn't reduce comfort much)
You can buy them, even used!!! but manage to sell before 60% wear (they become a bit stiffer at the end)

I've spent three winters on this tire. The tire is perfect. It has gotten me out of many tight spots, even where high-end vehicles failed. I was able to drive out of difficult situations with ease. The handling on ice is exquisite. I've driven on the Guod Er Ice, Hakkapeliitta 5 and Nordman 4 (all with studs). I can confidently say that the Guod Er ice is better than the Hakkapeliitta 5 and the Nordman

All in all, a pretty good tire...IMHO. It's well-balanced. It performs well on winter asphalt and packed snow. It holds poorly on ice (sorry, no studs). On icy patches and especially in turns, it's better to slow down, as it slips into a skid unexpectedly, and it's hard to get a front-wheel drive car out of it by stepping on the gas. In a turn, the skid only gets worse, so you have to let off

It was this model that was my introduction to Goodyear's winter non-studded tires. I'd like to note that they performed optimally both on snowy roads and dry. I'm sticking to the brand - last season I drove on them and this one I'll be driving on the UltraGrip Ice 2. Now, you won't be able to convince me to switch to studded tires.

Hi all! I used the tires in size 195/65R15 for two seasons, covering around 15000 km - minimal wear! Even the sipes on the tread are barely visible! True, the winter in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky was snowy... but the interseasonal period was also prolonged - we had to drive until early May due to the risk of snow.
First impressions: the lateral stability is a bit worse than the worn-out Dunlop Grasp

Driving experience: 20 years, I always carefully choose winter tires, after one winter when I flew into a kuyvet on summer tires. Last 7 years only driving on Goodyear's self-supporting winter tires, acquaintance started with Ice Navi, now Ice 2. Excellent handling on my Chevrolet Cruze, recommend to all my friends. No potholes after the season, although I caught serious potholes a few times.

I'd like to add. I drove for 2 days on snow and ice - it's really crazy. It won't hold over 40 km/h. The dashboard lights up with everything it can and it still wants to slide into a skid. The rest is the same as I wrote last time. Today there's snow up to the bumper, a 15-20 degree incline and... I made it up! I.e. a very specific, but quite acceptable situation. Good luck

Great tire. Apparently, it loves big heavy cars with ABS and ESP. With these conditions - flawless, considering winter driving specifics. Loves cold weather, in -20 remains soft, accelerates and brakes acceptably. Performs well in snow. Exiting a stationary, snow-covered incline with a slight hill - no problem, stopped paying attention to what's happening under the wheels. Max speed in a snowy and icy city couldn't find, but I wouldn't dare to drive above 80km/h.

Money well spent, great tires. The car feels like it's on a cloud - so soft. I set the pressure to 2.2. I'm no racing driver, so I can't comment on cornering at high speeds or understeer. They grip well on wet and icy asphalt. As for snow, I'll have to wait until we get some in our region. In general, good quality for reasonable money.

To all the dissatisfied ones!
You, my dear, expected that your car will behave the same way on winter roads as it does on summer roads?! That's impossible! The tire is very good on ice, in snow, and in slush. I put it on my MXIMA and my daughter on her Lexus IS250 (she's driving in her first winter), and so far, not a single scratch! - I think that's a good indicator!
