Excellent tires, highly recommended!

The tires I have so far meet all my expectations, I am waiting for real winter to check them fully, and I will add a more comprehensive review afterwards.

Ice and snow pose a major problem for this rubber. Other characteristics are not as important.

I've run Dunlop DS2, DS3, Kumho KW31, and even a studded Nokian Nordman on my front-wheel drive.

ContiVikingContact7 is a premium studless that is worth the money, there's no magic on ice. For me personally, it's the best tire I've ever run.

Tiguan, 220hp, 235/50/19, winter 2018-2019 in Moscow. Excellent and predictable handling. It pulls through the slush perfectly, stable on the highway even in the ruts. Noise from the tires is minimal. Even at a good pace in deep puddles, it's perfectly okay. A great tire, definitely better than the previously used Bridgestone dm-v2.

Bought in 2018, drove more than 20,000 km from the warm shores of Portugal to snowy Norway, including the harsh Urals, thoroughly enjoyed it.
