Excellent grip in dry and seems to wear well with 3 mm on fronts after 32,000 km. Only problem is they are expensive and desire to try Falken 452 next time. Rating for Comfort may be a bit average considering stiff suspension setup.

Good tyre, not the grippiest thing out there, but feels like it's on the road most of the time. May slip a bit on wet roads, but has good feedback and gives you plenty of warning before it lets go. Very comfortable to ride with lowish noise. Wears well, grips right to the end. Not sure I'd buy again though due to the cost. Trying Ecsta Supra 712 now.

So far only Michelin and Bridgestone have worked for me, and I've changed to Conti for the first time. Undoubtedly the worst tires I've had so far. The rolling noise is unbearable! When accelerating and braking, it's like a catastrophe. Extremely hazardous when aquaplaning. I'm falling off about everything else. After 8k km, the profile is only about 3 mm (like new), and I will be exchanging them for Michelin tires on Monday

Very good high-performance tires, works well even in small cars. Very good in dry and wet conditions. Wear is something else, it gives me the impression, you can travel as many km as you want for 2 years, but then to wear or not it loses performance

Never again. 265/35/R18 MO rear / 245/40/R18 MO front I made a passion out of hating these tires. They are very loud, they are a complete disaster on wet roads, and they wear out very quickly. Throw in their high price, and you will hate them.

Great new, but check how the tread pattern changes as the tire wears and performance gets worse and the tire gets noisy. They've only got the last 12,000 on the front wheels, 27,000 on the rear. I'm getting 48mpg so I'm not driving them hard. When worn they tend to trigger the anti-lock braking system a lot. They lose a lot of tread pattern when worn, which can't be good.

Good tires on dry new roads, but when the road is a bit older they easily lose grip on the rear side of the car (15 - 35 sec temporary) Yokohama ADVAN Sport and Dunlop Sport Maxx are much better and they have much more wear and grip especially under dry conditions.

The grip on these tyres is fantastic - and they are considered to provide excellent, really responsive handling. Even in the heavy UK rains of summer 2008, I didn't aquaplane when many other vehicles were. The snow traction was excellent, I marked them down only because the snow days were when the roads were really deep and cold and poorly gritted - on normal snow they made me proud. Excellent tyres, I would buy them again.

The Continental Sport Contact 2 are RECOMMENDED on Porsche and definitely good, this is my second set at 25,000 miles, plus there's a reason all the high end German cars have Continentals installed at the factory

Quick wear. Rare tire, unrealistically high price.
Came as standard equipment on the Focus. In general, I'm happy with the tire. Holds the road well, both dry and wet. The tread is not very... wobbly. Quite quiet. Drives well only on asphalt and dry dirt, a bit of clay, water, ice and it's all goodbye... constant skidding. At speed, the car feels good.
