Good tire, decent. Holds the road, soft. Makes a bit of noise on coarse asphalt

I purchased a set of tires from a well-known brand at a fairly high price. At the tire mounting service, one of the 4 purchased tires, made in Portugal, turned out to be defective: it required 300 grams of weights on each side for balancing!!! I sent the tire to the supplier with video materials for examination, requested to expedite the examination, and contacted them several times, as it's impossible to drive on 3 wheels. As a result, from the time of sending the tire until it was recognized as defective and a replacement was sent to me, a month passed. In the end, before switching to winter tires, I drove only about 1000 km on the new tires.

The tires came from Portugal, a fresh year, during operation, it was found that the steering wheel was not in a neutral position, but slightly shifted to the right. After a long search for the cause, the convergence and camber were perfectly adjusted for a long time, and there were no comments on the suspension. On the stand, everything is clear, but as soon as you start driving, the steering wheel is shifted. It was possible to eliminate the cause by identifying a defective tire and rearranging the wheels diagonally. Visually, there are no differences, either in height or on the tread. After this procedure, the steering wheel stood exactly. Moreover, on other tires, also Continental winter, but 18 years old, the steering wheel stands perfectly straight, and every time I replace them, I swap the tires between the axles. In general, the conclusion is one: either it was a defect or Continental is no longer the same. Also, pebbles constantly get stuck in the tread, and on dirty and wet roads, it was not possible to test the passability. In general, the tires are good, since they are new, but the defect spoiled the impression. The first LX1 model was much better, but it has been discontinued for a long time.
