Not a complaint, but rather a comparison between the 7 and 8! May this be helpful to someone. I bought a 7. Tires are good but make a noise above 80 km/h. Maybe it will be better after a few thousand more km. If you are not bothered by this, go for it. Not the first 7 I've had (on a German sedan as well, new and no noise at all). I chose between the 8 and the 7

Great winter tires!
Predictable!
Tire noise on the asphalt, compared to other studded tires - a gentle whisper!
The body does not vibrate, the roof does not vibrate.

Noise is almost nonexistent, and roadholding is good.

Outstanding on-road handling, good traction on snowdrifts, and excellent ice grip.

Regarding the tread quality, I can say right now, three days after purchase, because I had a similar tread on my car four years ago. This is probably the most rational purchase of Nokian tires for winter, and an 8/10 rating is definitely expensive for me. We have black ice in our area, and the 7/10 rating holds the road perfectly, but it also doesn't fall behind in the snow!

I've only driven on these tires a short distance (4,000 km) but everything seems to be working fine, except for the noise, but I think this is a common issue with studded tires.

I've had a Finnish-made "7" for three years now, and before that I had a Finnish-made "4" for seven years, after which I sold it, having driven it over 100,000 km. The studs are still 20% effective, and the tread is worn off by 40-50%. I liked the "4" so much that I opted for a "7" from Finland, too! In the past I used to drive pretty fast on the "4

I got these tires as a gift when I bought the car. I used to drive on a Japanese "stick" (a term used to describe a car with a manual transmission, commonly used in Japan). The handling is great, whether in the city or on the highway, and even on uneven roads, I'm not afraid. There's no noise in the cabin that would make it impossible to drive. I think even my summer Bridgestones are noisier. I recommend this brand to anyone

Four winters - 39,000 km (Orenburg - Moscow). Protector as new, lost 8 studs on drive wheels. Excellent handling and traction on ice and snow. Full comfort and reliability. But on 2 wheels a crack, pity to throw away (but four winters - an indicator). And the price bites.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 I was sorry about the money, but the new Octavia 1.8 TSI DSG was driven by me and the kids ... and the KIDS' SAFETY above all )))) super tires!!! drove for 2 years and sold the Octavia... due to engine sludge... I was sad to give away the tires, but they gave a good price )))
