Tyre reviews Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons GEN-2. Page 2 57

The tire was disappointing. In winter, it's still okay, but over two summers in Moscow, with temperatures never above +30, about 50 percent of the small lamellas in both front tires were torn out of the tread to a depth of approximately 1 to 3 mm. Meanwhile, the rear tires are fine. The impression is that when turning the wheel during the summer, the tire is too soft and gets torn. The tire itself is made in Germany. I bought it at Mosavtoshina 2 years ago, and now it's 4 years old.
At the Volkswagen dealership, the master of the workshop looked at it on a lift and ruled out the possibility that it was due to driving on gravel, crushed stone, etc., since some of the lamellas were torn out in the opposite direction of the wheel rotation.
Gutierrez's representation is currently not available in the Russian Federation, so I'm in trouble.

I already wrote a review about these great tires. They passed the test this snowy winter, all good. However, I'd like to warn users that the tire's capabilities are not limitless. I've noticed that longitudinal stability is better than lateral stability, which means that there may be a tendency to skid. Additionally, there may be aquaplaning under certain conditions. If skidding is not so scary, then modern car systems can help with that, but aquaplaning is very dangerous

Excellent tire, when choosing in 2017, the production was from Germany and Russia, I only looked for Germany, unfortunately now only Turkey. German as summer showed itself perfectly: no aquaplaning, braking without yaw, crawling through mud, stability to rolling. In the heat of summer in the Kuban and the mountains of Georgia, it didn't even try to float and obviously did not lose its properties. I use only studs in winter, on it I met the first ice control and

Expensive, but worth the money. Handles well in the rain. After minus temperatures, it's also quite good. I've driven on rocky roads with elevation changes - it grips the road well.

The tires were very much liked.
Of course, it's not a studded tire, but you can drive confidently in the winter. Plus, savings on tire fitting.

Setting tyre pressure in the new tyres as recommended by the manufacturer: 2.2/2.0, I felt an excessive softness, almost under-inflation, the sidewalls were bulging compared to the previous Continental all-seasons Bridgestone. Had to over-inflate to 2.3/2.3. When removing the old ones, I compared the sidewalls by touch - the new ones were thinner. Therefore, there is a bit of doubt about the reliability. We
