For me, these are the first non-studded winter tyres. There were some reservations, but the snowless winter of 2019/2020 has so far revealed more positive qualities of this tyre than negative ones. During the off-season, you can replace the tyres a bit earlier in autumn and later in spring, which is safety when the weather is unpredictable. Under ice rain and instantly forming ice on asphalt, Goodyear behaves confidently. In snowy slush and in puddles, it doesn

Goodyear Ultra Grip 8 Performance surely ride on any surface. I had a chance to get into deep puddles and didn’t even twitch, stormed through the snowdrifts and I like them much more than the same Nokians.

She did her job fine. Ice performed as well as the Sipes, but a bit uncertainly in my opinion, ABS probably still cleared roads. But on asphalt and in all other conditions, the UltraGrip was at the top. Even on a -23°C asphalt at 180 km/h, it was not scary at all.

Tires are fine - very quiet, which is important for long trips. I always choose ungrooved tires. Traction on ice and packed snow is acceptable, tried to spin out - car was always controllable. Deep snow is not dug well. However, the tire is not for this. It's for asphalt, slush. On the highway it's ideal. I drove over 5 km on a deflated one - no consequences.

Puddles, slush and potholes are ignored. Smooth cornering and undulations are mastered. Accelerates without jerky movements, brakes confidently almost on any surface, very suitable for large cities and warm winters, absolutely silent, no louder than in summer 100%.

I'm in my second season on the Moscow streets, performing well in winter city driving conditions. High wear resistance and aquaplaning resistance, soft. Extremely low noise level, you can immediately feel the difference when switching to the summer Bridgestone.

Good German "knobby" tire for European winter. For Moscow and surroundings - what's needed! For black ice, not very good. Much of snow on the road, not very good too! But it is not studs! Fourth my knobby tire and the best that I had. Overall - 5 points!

Excellent tires, I'm confident in them in any weather, especially at high speeds, off-road (mud after rains) and in deep snow - always made it through. I took the same second set as a replacement for the old one (5mm tread remaining)

If it's snowing or there's black ice on the road, and even more so on a slope... Pray!
