I bought Continental ContiEcoContact 5 205/55 R16 94W XL.

I have driven for three seasons. No problems. The tires are quite soft. They performed well when the car was fully loaded and at high speeds. They handle well, even on wet asphalt. The only thing - the sides are very soft. On the XL configuration, the sides bulge out, which risks damage if you rub against curbs (parapets)))

For this price - excellent!

My car for a comfortable ride. “Retiree” driving style. Mainly city roads with good asphalt, a little gravel to the country house. On highway, I run 2.3 (front), in the city 2.0. Tires are quiet on the highway and comfortable (soft) on the asphalt. Not suitable for driving on cobblestone (appear cuts). Wet grass, wet ground - better think twice if there are prolonged sections. Very grippy in hot days

I bought ContiEcoContact. Good, quiet, fairly soft, but surprisingly hold the road well. Recently on MKAD I hit a pothole and I have to admit I was scared, but the tire beads held up nicely - not even a slight wobble. I'm happy, I think it's the best option possible.

Excellent quiet tires. Took as a replacement the same ones that were from Europe. My barge steadily holds in turns and during rains.

I ordered them as a replacement for the same ones. But this time Made in France. I was surprised by the softness of the tires. It even scared me a bit when I picked them up from the transport, as I had never held such soft sidewalls in my hands before. Although I had Continental on my Passat too, it was already ContiPremiumContact 6 235/45 R17 94W, but there were no French ones available in a set of 4, and I didn't want to combine them from different plants. These tires are not for Formula 1, but you shouldn't expect a miracle from them on the track either. But they are good mid-range tires for those who can afford to drive calmly.

Handles well in corners, even on wet asphalt. No aquaplaning. There's noise, but very little. Wear resistance is on par. These tires are quite normal. Not wow, but good.

Installed in May. All is well. I had the same brand before, but they were not XL, lasted for two seasons. This time I installed XL. I think it will be more durable. I did not drive in snow and ice, so I cannot evaluate.

I bought a car with these tires. These tires are for good roads, of which there aren't very many in Russia.
