Шины на Mitsubishi Pajero (Митсубисхи)
The Mitsubishi Pajero is a full-size off-road vehicle. It was produced from 1981 to 2021. The name of the car comes from Leopardus pajeros, a pampas cat, a predator found in South America. In some markets, the off-road vehicle was sold as the Montero, due to the derogatory translation of the name into Spanish. Over 40 years of production, more than 3.3 million units were sold.First Generation
The first-generation car debuted in September 1981. On the assembly line, it replaced the Jeep Delivery Wagon, a copy of the American Willys, created during World War II. Initially, the Pajero was a 3-door off-road vehicle with a short wheelbase, offered with a metal or canvas top and three engines - inline "fours" with a volume of 2 to 2.6 liters. Gradually, gasoline and diesel engines were added to them, including a 3-liter V6. In February 1983, the company introduced a 5-door model with an extended wheelbase. It allowed increasing the number of seats to 7. At the same time, the rear seat folded to the sides, increasing the luggage compartment space, or unfolded into a flat floor, forming a 2-seat sleeping place with the second-row seats. The engine range was expanded to include turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines. In 1984, the car received even more powerful diesel engines, as well as disc brakes for all wheels and adjustable shock absorbers as standard equipment. In 1988, the off-road vehicle began to be equipped with the most popular engines among its owners - a 2.5-liter diesel engine with an intercooler and a 3-liter gasoline V6.Second Generation
In early 1991, a car of the second generation was presented, in which almost everything was new or modernized. First of all, this is a larger body, available in four versions, with a short and long base, a removable top, with a standard and increased height roof. At the same time, versions with a short base were lengthened compared to the predecessor by 70 mm, and with a long one - by 30 mm. The engine range consisted of two engines - a 3-liter gasoline V6 and a 2.5-liter diesel "four" with an intercooler located on top. This reduced the risk of its damage off-road. Another important innovation was the Super Select transmission. It allowed for quick switching between 4 modes of all-wheel drive operation, and it could be done at speeds of up to 80 km/h. As an option, a rear differential lock with pneumatic control was offered. The Super Select transmission worked in conjunction with ABS, which was also multi-mode and controlled the distribution of traction through differentials using special valves.Third Generation
The off-road vehicle of the third generation debuted on the domestic Japanese market in 1999, appearing abroad almost two years later, in late 2000. The main difference from the predecessor was the frame integrated into the body, which became much stronger. Such a combination demonstrated impressive strength in accidents, as well as off-road, which ensured these cars had extraordinary survivability and durability. Another feature was the appearance of a modernized Super Select transmission, where conical gears were replaced by planetary ones, allowing the traction to be varied between the front and rear axles in the range from 33:67 to 50:50. At the same time, the transmission control became fully electronic. The engine range consisted of 3- and 3.5-liter gasoline engines and a 3.2-liter diesel engine. Depending on the power unit, the car was equipped with a 5-speed "mechanics", 4- or 5-speed "automatic" INVECS-II.Fourth Generation
The car of the fourth generation debuted in 2006. The update was largely minor. The exterior and interior design was revised, the features of which were not strongly changed, as well as the chassis design, which was still integrated into the body. The Super Select transmission received an improved traction control and stabilization system. The ground clearance was increased to 220 mm, and the ford depth - to 700 mm, the rear propeller shaft received a carbon fiber sleeve, the hood was made of aluminum to reduce weight and lower the center of gravity. The engines were also improved. The 3.2-liter diesel engine received a CommonRail fuel system, and the 3.8-liter gasoline V6 - a MIVEC phase control system, which increased its power to 250 hp. Despite the fact that the production of this model was discontinued, cars of even the first generation are still present on our roads. Including for them, a wide range of tires and wheels is presented in the online store "Mosavtoshina".Advantages of selecting tires for Mitsubishi Pajero on our website
