The debut of the first generation eK Space took place in October 2013, with sales starting in February 2014. In 2016, the lineup was modernized. The flagship version eK Space Custom received a bright aggressive radiator grille, borrowed from the Outlander crossover, which emphasized its sporty character. The base model eK Space also updated the front part, receiving a new two-level radiator grille in the body metal frame instead of the original solution.
Generation 2
The second generation was presented in early 2020, marking the transition to a new platform. In addition to the classic wagon, a fundamentally new model was presented - eK X Space - the first in the history of kei-cars compact crossover, which raised the bar for passability and status in the segment. Under the hood, there is still a 658 cubic engine, but already modernized. It was aggregated as before with the variator.
In the spring of 2023, the model family was updated again, receiving fresh exterior and interior elements. And in 2025, the third generation appeared, which received an updated exterior and interior. The equipment included a number of "assistants", as well as a touchscreen multimedia screen. Note that the salon layout has become even more optimized due to the possibility of moving the rear row of seats.
