Mazda Carol has been present in the production range of the Japanese brand since 1962. Another component is the starter-generator, which adds 2.6 hp and 40 Nm for the first few seconds of acceleration from a standstill, as well as allowing the car to move without using the main power unit when braking, increasing the operating time of the "start-stop" system. A miniature lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 3 Ah is located in the compartment under the front passenger seat. Regardless of the type of power unit, all cars are equipped with a variator. In addition, with any version, there is access to a four-wheel drive system. In this case, a solid axle appears in the rear suspension.

In terms of equipment, the car stands out with the presence of an automatic braking system already in the "base" version. For its operation, it uses an image from two cameras located under the windshield. The list of additional equipment is distinguished by the presence of climate control and LED headlights.
