The Mazda Atenza was produced from 2002 to 2019 and was intended for the domestic Japanese market. In other countries, the car is known as the Mazda 6. The third generation went into production in 2012. It was available only as a sedan and wagon. The manufacturer worked extensively on the car's exterior design, giving it a more sporty look. Under the hood, SkyActiv-G gasoline engines with 2 liters (150 hp) and 2.5 liters (192 hp) were installed. Diesel options with 2.2 liters and varying boosts of 150 and 175 hp were also available. The transmission was available in two options: "automatic" and "manual", both with 6 speeds.
