Nokian W
185-60, R14, EU production, purchased from Vianor network, no complaints except for steering wheel pulling to the right, wheel alignment was done, swapped positions, raised/lowered pressure - to no avail, acquaintance has the same in 13-inch radius, bought from the same place, all okay, conclusion - defective batch, regret not buying Yokohama for the same money...

The first impression is good
I chose from two models: this one (nokian w) and fulda kristall montero. I chose nokian in the end. The price is approximately the same, but the tread pattern looked better on nokian in real life. I'll say it right away, it doesn't lead anywhere!!! And the opinion of some that there is some kind of defect in this model, I think is wrong. This is a tire manufacturer that is one of

super
The tire is simply super. I drove my rear-wheel drive car through a 15cm snow field, it pulls like a tractor. There's no wear. No balancing issues arose. And on ice, non-studded tires shouldn't provide any super performance anyway.

Price/quality is excellent!
In winter 2005-2006 on 175/70R13 8000 km - in the city. Like new. Considering the manufacturer's positioning (winter in Central Europe) it justifies itself 100%.
Pros: Price, soft, quiet
Cons: For driving on ice, it's better to take something more spiked.- Rate
Excellent tire.
An excellent tire for winter, there was no case where there were problems with exiting any slope on snow, mud. On ice when braking, it slightly leads. Excellent tire.

Poor
I didn't like it. I drove one season in the snow, poorly - the car doesn't hold, maybe because it's very heavy, and on ice it's just awful! The guys had to run out and stop it by hand. What price - such quality!

Expected better from Nokian.
You should take the original. If you buy and it says "Made in Europe", it's at most Slovakia, or even Russia. At the same time, the car is steered either to the left or to the right, the wheels are poorly balanced.
Pros: Good grip on snow and bumpy ice, excellent behavior in freezing temperatures. Soft.
Cons: the car is uncontrollable on smooth ice (glass), leads at- Control on a dry road

Hankook W310 i cept Evo. Prior to this I had Continentals, Michelin.
Fitted to a Volvo S60 AWD. Excellent in snow, a bit noisy like a good winter tyre, hence the 4 stars. Performs well on wet and dry asphalt. Holds well through corners. I'd say it's very good quality for the price, on a par with premium tyres.

Excellent!
I drove the whole winter of 2005-2006, daily for 180 km on various roads: excellent, reliable, relatively cheap tires, very quiet and soft. I'm satisfied, I recommend. Along with me, my colleagues also took them - the reviews are similar.
Pros: Price, soft, quiet, reliable
Cons: Yes, it skids on ice, so here you definitely need studded tiresExcellent tire!
I took it in the winter of 2006, I'm satisfied: it's soft, doesn't make noise. It gains speed well on any surface (snow, ice), braking when the pedal is fully pressed on ice is naturally not very good, but if you brake gradually, everything is fine. Ice is a separate issue. Snow is not an obstacle. I recommend it to everyone
Pros: Price, soft, quiet
Cons: not very good on
