I've been driving on this tire for the second season. I'll say right away - I drive VERY fast (even in winter :)). My impressions of the tire are very different (over 2 different seasons). Winter 2009-2010 - little snow, little ice; mainly dry or wet winter asphalt roads (Moscow) - the tire is super, just divine, the best in 7 years of experience! I laughed at those who had studded tires... But winter 201

Great tire for high speed on winter asphalt and snow, but on ice and black ice it has no brakes, but I think that's the whole stud thing! You need to be careful. On the track, on dry asphalt in the winter, it confidently holds the road at 200 km/h. I generally always drive with studs, but since I needed a runflat and a specific size, only Pirelli from the studs were available. But no Pirelli can compare to Continental with a

On hitting a pothole, the sidewall gets punctured. This winter I've had to replace two tires, one of which I had repaired, and the other was written off.

When temperatures rise to 15 degrees and above, it's not as good as a summer tire, but below 10 degrees, it's excellent. I got taken out by snow and 25% ice hills and again. They instill confidence in cold and dry, as well as wet and snowy and icy conditions. Excellent for off-road use, as well.

Driving in the British winter snow was not a problem, and even with winter tyres on the front wheels it was still difficult to get the rear wheels to grip (having weight in the boot certainly helps to improve traction). I drove 2500 miles in France to go skiing and visit friends, with no sliding or skidding on Alpine roads.

After tuning to Stage 1 300+, there is zero lockup and the car will actually turn sideways if you try to launch it from a 2nd gear. Not safe. For just driving, it drives normally, smoothly, quietly.
