I took the tires after Michelin X-ice snow, which served for 5 seasons and about 50,000 km, there were no complaints about them, quiet, wear-resistant, they grip on snow and brake on ice, and the price is cheaper than Viking contact 8. But I wanted a new model and in tests, Vikings took the first places. The main mileage is on the highway, on the M-11 Moscow-St. Petersburg. So, I can't say that Viking 8 is significantly better or worse than Michelin, given that the price of Viking, at the time of purchase, was more than 8 thousand per wheel, than Michelin. As for wear resistance, I can't say anything yet, the mileage is too small. In general, if not for the price, the tires are wonderful.

Wet asphalt, snow cover, no difference. They hold equally well.
As for noise, ordinary tires, like all. The difference in a couple of decibels, the ordinary ear will not distinguish.
Potholes are swallowed with enthusiasm, the car is not tossed.
