The first-generation model was built on the Honda Civic platform, which was increased in size. Domestic sales started in 2000, and in Europe in 2001. There was also a modification with a 5-speed "mechanics".In 2003, a restyling was carried out, which added a new 2-liter gasoline engine with direct fuel injection to the range of power units. Generation 2
In 2006, an updated modification was presented. The car received not only a new exterior but also many additional systems. Two versions were offered: with a 1.8-liter SOHC i-VTEC engine (140 hp), with a mechanical or automatic transmission with five gears. And also with a 2-liter SOHC i-VTEC unit (150 hp), which was equipped with an intake manifold with variable geometry. The model could be equipped with a variator with 7 virtual gears or a 5-speed "automatic". All-wheel drive was also assumed. The car still characterized by excellent capacity and cabin comfort. The manufacturer positioned it as a car for large families.Production was discontinued in 2014, first in Japan, and a year later in Malaysia. The Honda Jade model became its successor.
