The rear row was made similarly, which allowed the car to be used in various scenarios, providing maximum comfort for 4 passengers or the possibility of transporting 6 people at the same time. The second row had a folding mechanism that tipped the seats forward, allowing for the formation of a flat floor in the luggage compartment, significantly increasing the dimensions of the available cargo space.

The engine range was formed based on the specific preferences of European buyers. First of all, these are two petrol "fours" with a volume of 1.7 and 2 liters, equipped with the i-VTEC system, developing 125 and 150 horsepower, respectively. A 2.2-liter diesel version with a power of 140 horsepower was also offered, which became the most popular due to its decent dynamics and low fuel consumption when fully loaded. The power units were combined with 5- and 6-speed manual gearboxes, or with 4- and 5-range "automatics".

Equipment and Electronic Systems

With a fairly modest price positioning, the model offered a fairly extensive list of equipment - climate control, cruise control, electric windows, an audio system with steering wheel control, heated seats, an on-board computer, and a stability system. In addition, several airbags, an ABS system with electronic distribution of braking forces were already available in the base version. In terms of technology, this MPV significantly surpassed most of its "classmates", which was also one of the factors of its popularity, along with its openly sporty handling and reliability.
