Under the hood was a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with variable valve timing, combined with a variator simulating a 7-speed transmission, as well as all-wheel drive.

Second Generation

The next iteration of the model was introduced in 2014. This time, the vehicle was designed for Indonesia, based on the entry-level Brio hatchback. It differed from the original model with a body featuring a high roof and an extended rear overhang. Technically, both cars were almost identical, sharing most components, including a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with the i-VTEC system, producing 118 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. Depending on the trim level, it was combined with a 5-speed manual transmission or a variator.

Among other features of the model, it is worth noting the excessive austerity in the equipment for most of the available trim levels. In particular, the base S did not have a rear windshield wiper, air conditioning, or active safety features, offering unpainted door handles and 15-inch stamped wheels.
