Honda e:NP1 – a classic crossover on electric traction, which was developed and released by the joint Chinese-Japanese company GAC-Honda. Moreover, the car is oriented exclusively to the domestic market of the PRC. Technical features

The car is based on the universal Honda Global platform, on which models with internal combustion engines were previously produced. Having preserved its key nodes, it was adapted for electric "stuffing". Thanks to this approach, there was no need for expensive development of a new base. This had a positive impact on the cost of the car.

As a power unit, one of the engines is used, located on the front axle: 182 or 204 horsepower. Also, two options for the power source are provided: 56.3 and 68.8 kW. Charging is currently available in our country only with alternating current at 7.7 A. A fast charging system is also provided, but it does not work correctly on domestic chargers due to the car's features (this situation is expected to be corrected in the future).

The crossover's equipment, on the one hand, is classic for electric vehicles, and on the other hand, there are echoes of the ICE platform. For example, physical buttons for selecting the driving mode are provided, which affects the responsiveness of the gas pedal. In addition, paddle shifters are provided. Of course, the main part of the settings is implemented through a large touchscreen display, which has high-quality imaging.

Exterior

The car's exterior is quite laconic and has a number of technical solutions characteristic of ICE models. For example, the rear doors are equipped with hidden handles located near the window. The sloping roof at the back gives the crossover a sporty note, which is complemented by stylish multi-spoke wheels. It's worth noting that the trunk is equipped with an electric drive. However, the clearance is only 150 mm. Of course, for a full-fledged "off-road vehicle", this is too little. But this is just a city car that provides quite comfortable movement in any season.
