The Triangle PS01 winter passenger tire is designed for passenger cars. The model is characterized by balanced operating properties, which were achieved through the use of modern technologies and materials for the manufacture of the tread and carcass.
Excellent acceleration and braking efficiency
The tire is equipped with a tread featuring a V-shaped design. It boasts several original technical solutions, the key one being the chessboard arrangement of the central blocks. As the vehicle moves, these blocks form a large number of very long intersecting traction edges that are positioned at a sufficiently sharp angle. This improves longitudinal traction properties on the one hand and prevents lateral slippage on the other, thereby enhancing directional stability.
Confident ice handling
Each tread block features at least several narrow slits. These elements significantly enhance traction on slippery surfaces by forming a total of several thousand sharp edges. The wavy shape of these slits limits block mobility, ensuring the tire's quick and accurate response to the driver's actions.
In addition to the lamellas, the tire's traction properties on slippery roads are ensured by numerous studs. These are arranged in such a way that as the vehicle moves, they form 16 longitudinal rows, which significantly improves traction stability.
Optimized rubber compound
A significant portion of the tire's operating properties is ensured by the characteristics of the tread's rubber compound. Thanks to its high silica content, it does not become brittle even at very low temperatures. This allows the tread to closely adhere to the cold road surface, providing maximum traction. Another advantage of this compound is its increased tear and tensile strength, which significantly reduces wear and the risk of mechanical damage to the tire.
