The Lassa company was founded in 1974 in Turkey by the Sabanci Group consortium, and in 1978 it began tire production. At present, Lassa is the largest tire manufacturer in Turkey and the sixth largest in Europe. The tire manufacturing plant covers an area of 260,000 square meters and produces over 400 varieties of different tire models.
The company constantly strives to introduce new tire models to the market. It sells its products in more than 30 countries. The production process is supported by its own research center, which has an excellent laboratory where special and standard tests are conducted.
All produced tires meet various international standards. Lassa tires have a large number of international and national awards and prizes.
When developing summer tires, the company's specialists tried to apply all possible new technologies to obtain maximum operational characteristics. As a result, summer tires fully meet all consumer requirements, both in terms of safety and handling at high speeds.
A specially designed tread pattern allowed for maximum stability when driving at high speeds.
A special system of lamellas and wide water drainage channels perfectly remove water from the contact patch, minimizing the effect of aquaplaning.
When producing winter tires, a special rubber compound was used that increases wear resistance and improves traction on various road surfaces. Optimally arranged blocks and the distance between them increase self-cleaning, resulting in increased passability on loose and thawing snow. Excellent handling and low noise level make driving on these tires comfortable and safe.
