The Ikon Nordman C winter tire is designed for prolonged and intensive use in commercial vehicles in the most challenging climate conditions. The directional tread pattern is designed in the classic "Scandinavian" style. The solid, arrow-shaped rib in the center provides directional stability and precise handling at high speeds, reducing rolling resistance. The "branches" extending from it, in the form of composite P-shaped blocks, form elongated, curved transverse edges, providing excellent traction and stability on snow. All elements have lamellas with serrated edges, which maintain traction properties on wet and icy surfaces. This model, one of the few commercial tires, has a tread pattern equipped with studs. Their presence significantly increases the effectiveness of the tire on ice. Another important feature is the direction of the grooves against the direction of rotation. This allows the use of wheel rotation to drain water and its heavy mixture with snow, which significantly intensifies this process, increasing the reliability of handling in adverse weather conditions.
